Movie 43

Factual error: In the Victory's Glory segment, Bobby Lee Mayflower was sent to the line to shoot a technical foul because Lucius Williams dribbled the basketball with his foot and a half penis. When shooting the technical foul, there should not have been any players surrounding the lane; technical fouls are taken alone at the line. (01:02:15 - 01:20:30)

Revealing mistake: During the basketball speech when he asked his players, "What game are we playing?", the part in the coach's hair switches sides for a few seconds. This is obviously a reversed exposure of the film. (01:16:40)

Continuity mistake: During the grocery store scene, the old man in the blue sweater is observing Neil with the others. He has the orange soda in his left hand and the red soda in his right hand. As he walks towards Neil, the wide shot shows orange still in his left. In the close-up as he approaches Neil and sets down the soda, the sodas have changed hands, orange in his right hand and red in his left. They then show him from the front with the soda on the counter, the orange soda now on the left, red on the right. (00:32:08)

Veronica: I can't believe you named your dog Veronica.
Neil: I can't believe you sucked off that hobo for magic beans!
Veronica: He was a wizard, Neil!

Answer: There have been several conflicting reasons given as to why this movie is called "Movie 43." Some people claim it's a reference to "rule 43 of the internet." (Although there are also several different conflicting versions of the 43rd rule of the internet, so this explanation is pretty shaky.) Some claim it's an inside joke between the main producer and his kids about a fictional "banned film" they heard about called "Movie 43" that didn't really exist. And some people claim it's just a random title they attached to the film with no actual meaning.
