Revealing mistake: When Martin and Katy arrive in Altea, Martin is acting like the suitcases are very heavy. The suitcases don't actually contain anything as you can see the wheels bouncing around on the floor, revealing an extremely light case.
Continuity mistake: When Mick is in the police car and there is a shot on his lap, the time on his watch reads 2:25. This episode takes place straight after Episode #2.8 and Mel stated at the wedding in that episode it was 3:15. (00:01:25)
Trivia: A lot of scenes in the Christmas Special had to be rewritten days before filming started due to the sudden passing away of Geoffrey Hutchings, who was scripted for a main role in the episode.
