The Prairie Story - S4-E19

Revealing mistake: When Jan Clayton picks up the baby to go outside and torch the wagon, she swings the baby around carelessly, revealing the shiny (and unsettling) head of an old prop baby doll. (00:37:15)

The Mark Miner Story - S5-E8

Factual error: At an 1868 church service, Mark sings "How Great Thou Art." While the tune of this hymn is 19th Century, the English lyrics he's singing weren't composed until the 1920s.

Jean G

The Prairie Story - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: Jan Clayton steps out of the wagon, hands the baby to her daughter, then she lights a broom, but right when the girl says "What are you doing?!", she starts setting fire to the wrong wagon, and the mistake is instantly corrected in the next 2 scenes. (00:40:00)

The Ruth Marshall Story - S3-E13

Visible crew/equipment: When Flint is dragged from the river by two Indians up to a log, at that point, for several seconds, in the upper right corner, a crew member, maybe the director, is in plain view. (00:41:00)

The Frank Carter Story - S5-E34

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, Duke is riding back to wagon train and has a gun holster on his left side. However, when he rides into camp the gun holster has switched to the right side. (00:48:00 - 00:49:00)

Weight of Command - S4-E18

Factual error: The wagon master is sitting drinking a cup of coffee, and he has two bandaids on the first and second finger of his hand. Bandaids were not introduced until the 1920's.

Clyde - S5-E13

Other mistake: As the 2 buffaloes are walking out of the scene at the top of the hill Charlie says to Clyde that 'it's either gonna be her or me' but as both buffaloes' bellies are exposed in the same shot, it's clear that both buffaloes are males, or bulls.

The Heather Mahoney Story - S5-E37

Question: After stopping the runaway carriage, the wagon master gets off his horse. The ladies speak a bit, then Heather Mahoney says, "Mr. Hale, I am determined to express my gratitude for your kindness even if my mother isn't." When did Mr. Hale exchange pleasantries with Mrs. Mahoney prior to stopping the carriage? (00:03:00 - 00:07:00)
