Episode #1.5 - S1-E5

Corrected entry: While setting up a fire in lady Mary's bedroom, Daisy mentions that she "hates this room", and they show a clip of Mary carrying the dead body of Mr. Pamouk. Why would that have anything to do with Mary's room? There is no reason that Daisy would think he had been in Mary's room at all.

Correction: When Daisy was coming up the servant stairs in the hallway she sneakily saw the women carrying his body out of her room to his.

Christmas Special 2012 - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: In this episode, Cora tells Mr. Gregson that she started reading "The Sketch" when Edith began to write for him. In Season one, episode one, Carson tells William to iron "The Sketch", because "her ladyship only ever reads the Sketch."

Season 5 generally

Trivia: Set in 1924, a few publicity shots of the Series 5 cast members, new and old, were rolled out, and one promotional photo in particular was quite revealing. Sitting on the mantelpiece behind cast members Hugh Bonneville and Laura Carmichael, who play the Earl of Grantham and Lady Edith, was a modern-day plastic bottle of water.

A Moorland Holiday - S5-E9

Question: Lord Sinderby has a painting of Jesus in his library. Would a Jewish leader decorate his rooms with a crucified Jesus? I really don't know, so thanks for an answer from wiser ones.

Answer: Lord Sinderby purchased the house, furnished and appointed, from someone else, complete with staff that come with the home (some of whom aren't happy to be working for a Jewish family). He bought the title, as well. If the artwork featuring Jesus is valuable, he might keep it. Also interesting, his ancestors Anglicized their name, though he is proudly Jewish.
