Continuity mistake: While King's ranch hands are illegally gathering up the mustangs, Matt gets on the walkie talkie to tell others to go after the black stallion, then when two of the men on horseback chase the stallion the horses they're riding change during this scene - note the white facial markings and coat. Continuity mistake: After Ralph stops two of King's ranch hands from getting Desperado, Ralph is beaten up and left lying on the ground, then just as Desperado nudges Ralph awake Ralph's shirt is entirely different in this shot. Also, note the horse's feed on the ground under Ralph, used to keep the horse's attention so it appears to be nudging Ralph. (00:05:45)
Continuity mistake: The small horse trailer hitched up to the back of Ralph and Pam's station wagon has the license plate number, T-479E5, which is visible a few times, then when Ralph is on King's property he gets a vision of Desperado's location, and just as Ralph does his vanishing thing, one of King's horse trailers has the same license plate with the number, T-479E5.
