Factual error: At the end of episode one, Buzz and Tod leave Mississippi in their 1960 Corvette on their way to meet a friend with a shrimp boat. Amazingly enough, by the time they cross the border to Louisiana, the Corvette has become a 1961, yet retains the same license plate number.

Trivia: This is the only Route 66 episode in the entire series in which the iconic Corvette does not appear at all.
