Character mistake: When Kyle is re-taking the test at the end of the school day, you see him bubble in 4 answer and turn the page and continue to answer questions. However there were 7 questions on the first page so he ended up putting the answer to #8 on #5 of the scantron. Kyle is too smart to do this.
Revealing mistake: In the scene after the fire, when Kyle is playing with a candle, as he picks up the candle his belly button is visible. It has been established that Kyle has no belly button, therefore this is a mistake.
Question: When Brian Taylor says that he is Jessi's father, is he really related to her (as in, she has some DNA from him), or does he call himself that because he created Jessi from Sarah's DNA?
Answer: He just "created" her.
