Deliberate mistake: In the first episode, Dorothy's name badge on her nurses uniform reads 'Dorothy Martin'. However, by the 5th series her name has inexplicably changed to 'Dorothy Bishop'.

Trivia: When Dorothy is walking into the pub to meet Gary, she walks past a brewery sign. The owners are Newton and Ridley, the brewery from Coronation Street.
