Other mistake: At the football match Simon Shaw complains to Mr Baxter that he was driving the minibus too fast, but when they left school another teacher was driving the minibus and Baxter was sitting in the passenger seat.
Continuity mistake: The third years in this series were first years in series two.
Imelda: I'm gonna get my dad down here to sort you out.
Mr Baxter: You do that, get your whole family down here, I expect they'll be glad to hear you've been nicking money off first year students. You get them all down here, tell them to wear a funny hat and we'll have a party.
Trivia: When Banksie, Jackie, Jean-Paul and Sarah first arrive at the disused factory to drive Phil's car, the scaffolding in the background is on the Eastenders set which was under construction when this series was being filmed. From 1984 until 2001 Grange Hill was made at the BBC Elstree studio's, where Eastenders has been filmed since 1985.
