Deliberate mistake: Before breaking into Amato's house, Lester tells Crockett and Tubbs that they will have thirty seconds to shut off the alarm after opening the door. Trivia: Michael Mann was originally against casting Don Johnson. Prior to this TV series, Johnson had starred in four failed TV pilots.
