Deliberate mistake: In order to knock down Ted at the laundry place, Diana opens a bag filled with clothes that are supposed to fall on him. The bag is too low plus the actor is away from the bag, so when she opens the bag he crouches, then grabs the clothes and pours them on top of him and falls down. It's all very lame.

Revealing mistake: Wonder Woman is in a control room with walls and a hard floor, but when she starts jumping around to avoid the lethal red light, the walls and floor swap to wrinkled and bending inwards, revealing it's a room covered with safety mats.
Continuity mistake: When Wonder Woman runs to the parking space where the Polaroid lies, there's an old couple walking by who vanishes between instant cuts.
Continuity mistake: Wonder Woman has the bad guy lassoed; the rope is running below the coat of arms embroidered on his jacket. A shot later, the rope is above it.
Continuity mistake: Diana is wearing boots, but when she falls in the pit, they swap to black sneakers. When the gas comes out, they swap back to boots.
Continuity mistake: Wonder Woman stops a tank with its tracks moving, but when the shot changes, they're still despite the motor running. This swaps back and forth.

Continuity mistake: The first ambassador is given 3 Polaroids; he drops one on the road and enters the car where he now has the same 3 photos again. Then in the close-up, he only has two; the one he dropped is missing, but a shot later he's got all 3 again.
Continuity mistake: By the car, the first ambassador holds the three polaroids in a fan-like manner, but a shot later they're stacked. This swaps back and forth.

Continuity mistake: When Wonder Woman runs around the rooftops, the sky is cloudy and grey. When she jumps off to the ground, it's sunny. Then she lands, and it's back to cloudy.
Continuity mistake: When Diana exits the dark room, an officer immediately enters to check. A yellow tray suddenly appears, plus a big photograph on the right.

Answer: The transformation twirling was invented for the 1970s TV series only, to explain her quick change from Diana Prince to Wonder Woman. However, it would have been nice to do a little spin homage in the movie.
