Stargate SG-1

New Ground - S3-E19

Question: Why does the guy who was interrogating SG 1 think they know how the dead man they found was killed? Why does he think they're lying? Why doesn't SG 1 tell their interrogator that they weren't there when the man was killed?

New this month Answer: The planet had two groups of people that were basically at war with each other. The guy interrogating SG-1 was part of the Bedrosian military and though SG-1 was working with, or part of, the Optricans (their enemy). He simply doesn't trust his enemy and thinks they're responsible, and he certainly isn't going to listen to reason. Plus, he's trying to preserve his religious beliefs and doesn't want to think his people came through the Stargate.

Pretense - S3-E15

Question: Either it was explained in this episode and I missed it or maybe it was explained in a later episode and I haven't seen it yet, but I have always been curious. If the Asgard were able to remove the Goa'uld from Skaara, then why couldn't they do the same with Teal'c?

Chosen answer: Skaara has a Goa'uld in his head controlling him. Removing it returns him to a normal human being. Teal'c has a Goa'uld in a sac in his stomach. The Goa'uld in Teal'c acts as his immune system and helps him to have a very ling life span. Removing it would kill him.

Point of View - S3-E6

Question: I have a question about the correction about the Asgard not beaming Teal'c because they knew about him helping SG-1. This happened in the alternate reality. Would the alternate Asgard know about Teal'c turning against Apophis?

Chosen answer: The Alternate Samantha Carter has travelled to enlist the Asgard's help. It stands to reason that she would have explained the situation to them fully before they arrive.
