Plot hole: When all the gang including Arnie leave the flat to go to the restaurant to meet Mr Stavros, Rodney decides to stay at the flat and wait for Cassandra to phone him. The next scene shows the gang all watching Arnie in the restaurant waiting for Mr Stavros to arrive. Rodney is sat in the van with Uncle Albert but Rodney decided to stay at the flat so there was no way of him being there.

Plot hole: At the railway station/bus stop scene, Alan Parry states that they will all have to look for somewhere to stay the night, as the replacement coach will be coming at 9.00am the next morning. If that arrangement had already been made, why were they looking for transport back to London that evening?
Plot hole: The Trotter's are taken to the office while the supermarket is still open, the office containing the safe. Tender pickups in supermarkets are done throughout the day but how did the cash from the tills at closing reach the safe? It is unlikely that a supermarket would leave large amounts of cash in tills and counter caches. The Trotters were actually in the office as the store closed, as well as Lennox. The safe is far too small. A safe in a large supermarket would contain large bags of change and would have an inner safe for cash bricks. Also, how is it that no other member of staff noticed the situation in the office - such as maybe a member of staff involved in cashing-up tills needing to gain access to the safe? (I work in a supermarket as a Duty Manager).

Plot hole: Del says that Rodney needs to sort his priorities out about being Chairman of the Housing Committee or working the pitch. However Rodney never tells Del he is chairman (he is made chairman at the meeting in the morning and goes to find Del after the meeting as shown by the same clothes, and Del asking where he was).
Plot hole: Del and Rodney find the nuclear shelter and decided to try it out. They then do a couple of runs to find the best place to build it. We then see the pair inside the nuclear shelter which they have built, filled with stuff like a bed, food batteries etc. all in one afternoon.
