Continuity mistake: When Blackadder, Baldrick and George are out in the no man's land, Blackadder screams and Baldrick asks why. Blackadder answers he put his elbow in a blob of ice cream while looking at Baldrick. When it cuts he is looking straight forward instead. (00:22:20)

He had the knife in his hand, thirteen witnesses had seen him stab the victim and when the police arrived he said 'I'm glad I killed the bastard.' There are in fact two versions of the bonfire scene. Although most countries use the intended censored version (where somebody coughs right as Edmund says the F word) there are a few US editions where you can hear him swearing uninterrupted.
