Plot hole: When Carrie is sitting on the kitchen table after Aiden ices her legs, they begin to kiss. As they lean back over the table; Carrie stretches her legs out and wraps them around Aiden, rubbing them against him several times. She has just been painfully burned on her legs, but suddenly has no problem rubbing the burned areas against his waist without any pain, problems or hesitation. She is acting as if she was never burned; but the skin would have still been tender, and it would have hurt to brush it against Aiden in that manner. (00:26:45)
Continuity mistake: When Carrie is startled by the squirrel and tosses the pie crust onto the counter, the camera cuts to her clasping her legs where she burnt them. In the next shot of the counter the pie crust has vanished; then in the next shot of it, the crust has returned. Also, the tray and tea towels change positions.
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant with Big and Carrie, Big's either holding the stem of his wine glass, or holding it above the stem between shots. There isn't any time for him to switch the position of his hand between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Aidan is curing Carrie's burnt, her right hand is on the tea towel first, then jumps to being in between her calves, then bent against her tummy. No continuity at all.
Continuity mistake: When Sam gets milk all over her nose and mouth, there's a brief shot of her turning around and her face is suddenly spotless.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte throws the racket on the bed, it changes positions between shots. Check the blue pattern on the sheets.
Continuity mistake: When the diner with Big scene starts, he grabs the glass and brings it towards him. Shot changes and now the glass is away and he's repeating the previous movements.
Continuity mistake: During diner with Big, Carrie's bag is pointing in an 11 o'clock position, but when Big grabs his glass it points in a 1 o'clock position.
Continuity mistake: When Sam watches the hot farmer Carrie says he's "young McDonald" while holding the cook book against her chest. A shot later her arms are lowered.
Visible crew/equipment: When Carrie tells Big that there's no-one she'd like to be except Aidan, two lighting screens get reflected on his glass.
Continuity mistake: When Aidan reaches to Carrie to help her get up, her arm is quite clean. Half a second later it's covered in mud.
Continuity mistake: The second time Carrie falls while trying to lift the log both parts of her buttocks get covered in mud. The next time she falls the right side has magically cleaned itself.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie is about to carry the log, Aidan's left arm is lowered, but a shot later it rests against the log.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast, after Charlotte says she's taking golf lessons Sam raises her right arm and puts it under her cheek. The arm alternates between lowered or raised for the rest of the scene depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast, when Carrie talks about Paris, Sam drinks her coffee raising her fingers. When the shot changes half a second later, the grip is totally different.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast, when Carrie says she's a hostage Miranda is drinking coffee, but a second later her mug is gone and she has a fork in his hand. Then shot changes and she is pinching food but, but a shot later her hands are still.
Continuity mistake: Charlotte holds the fertility exercises book with both hands in one shot, but just with one in the close-up.
Continuity mistake: When Steve says he's in stage 1 cancer his hands alternate between crossed and uncrossed between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie and Aidan are in bed together, he hands her the second picture and she holds it with two hands. A shot later she is holding it with one. A couple seconds later she finally grabs it with both.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Big comes up to the cabin to talk to Carrie, he isn't wearing glasses. After he drinks too much wine, they decide he has to stay the night at the cabin. Aiden throws him a pillow and blanket. Right when the blanket hits Mr. Big as he is sitting in the chair, you can suddenly see what look like some sort of metal frame glasses hanging vertically/falling off from Mr. Big's face, as if they were knocked off by the blanket. Where did the glasses come from? He wasn't wearing them just before that. (00:24:40)
