Well acted police procedural with a gritty, driven detective overcoming all obstacles to solve his cases. But at what personal cost?
Chapter Ten: Us and Them - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: When talking with his ex-wife about his runaway daughter, Bosch says that she is on a bus arriving in LA at 7:30 and that he will be there to meet her. In the next scene, the establishing shot of the LA bus station slow pans past the station clock tower showing the time is 4:30. The daughter gets off a bus that arrives moments later.
Jerry Edgar: Golf is a great sport.
Harry Bosch: Golf is not a great sport. If you can smoke and drink while doing it, it's not a sport.
Chapter One: 'Tis the Season - S1-E1
Trivia: In several interviews, Titus Welliver mentioned the Amazon Video department decking out a Dodge Charger for Harry to use. Titus, to their chagrin, objected and said it would be unlike his character to drive around in such a flashy car, as this would compromise his ability to pursue subjects unsuspected and would generally not align with his characterisation. It was never used; however, it can briefly be seen to the right-hand side of Harry as he's walking into the station after court. (00:12:58)
