BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Rey is shown strapping BB-8 to the side of her speeder bike in a sort of net thing that is fashioned to the side. When it cuts to a close-up, a lot of things suddenly shift to the left, including Rey; the connection of the net at the top right moves further forward on the bike, and BB-8 moves further to the separation line on the bike between two metal panels. Continuity mistake: The windshield on Rey's speeder is partly broken with a shatter in it or a piece missing. When she's peering over her speeder after spotting Teedo, the glass is perfectly intact. (00:00:29)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: BB-8 is shown strapped to the side of Rey's speeder bike, and about halfway down on the side of it. There's at least a good foot or two of clearance between the top of his head and where the top of the bike is. Yet in the shot where Rey is peering over the bike at Teedo, suddenly BB-8's head is also sticking up over the bike. (00:00:30)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Rey pulls out her binoculars and spots Teedo. Between shots of her seeing him and then it cutting back, she and BB-8 have moved closer together. Their heads are also not lined up with the lines on the bike in the same way, with BB-8's head overlapping the line on the bike to being fully beside it now, and Rey's hand goes from being next to the edge of the metal where the windshield is to in front of it. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: After Rey spots Teedo, she lowers her binoculars and glances at BB-8. The shot changes and suddenly Rey is much further away from BB-8, going from a few inches to over an arm's length apart. (00:00:37)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: After Rey spots Teedo on the dune, their side of her speeder is shown again. The paint peeling and dirt on the back fin of her bike changes between shots. Going from looking like a two-peaked mountain to a whole mountain range, the speck of paint on the left side grows bigger and changes shape, and a new speck of paint appears on the right side. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: After Rey lowers her binoculars back down, the camera cuts to an angle from behind her showing the speeder bike. Details on it have changed from a few shots earlier, with the panel on the top of it becoming much larger and the net holding BB-8 to the speeder now fastened onto that panel instead of next to it. Another line in the metal appears below the windshield, and the other part of the net fastening BB-8 to the side moves. Also, each part holding the net shrinks. (00:00:38)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: The bandit that attacks Rey with the metal stick-like item is close enough that when she ducks down to avoid his attack, he smacks the side of her speeder bike towards the top, meaning he was very close. Then a couple of shots later, when she swipes at his feet, the far shot shows him starting to fall over, and he's nowhere near close enough to the bike to even touch it if he lay out his full body length. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey's speeder is first shown, there is a hole/dent in the front, and the front grille has 11 slats. Then when a raider attacks Rey from behind, a shot shows the dent has changed shape, and now the grille has 9 slats. (00:00:44)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey smacks the bandit in the face with the side of her staff, his arm goes from extended up in the air to straight down at his side in an instant, as if it teleported there. This happens within one frame of animation and then it stays down. (00:00:45)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey is about to dodge the blast from the second raider that attacks her, the position of BB-8 on the bike changes. Mostly, he is up higher on the side of the bike, and the net moves also. (00:00:47)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey is jumping on her speeder bike to get away from the raider shooting at her, the paint on the back fin changes between shots again. And the top panel on the bike suddenly becomes much smaller and moves forward, and BB-8's position as well as the net change where they are on the side of the bike. (00:00:48)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When the last raider pulls a blaster on Rey, the AT-AT walker is behind him. In the shot where he aims the blaster, the amount of sand built up around its leg changes and has a more pronounced ridge. (00:00:48)

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Rey jumps onto her speeder as the last raider pulls a blaster and starts shooting. As she speeds away, her bike kicks up a cloud of sand, and a blaster bolt flies over her shoulder after the dust has already formed. In the next shot, however, the sand cloud hasn't formed yet, and the raider is only just standing up to aim and fire. The shot then rings out with the bolt passing her before the dust cloud appears. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey spots Teedo, she's looking over the side of her speeder bike towards him, with the bike facing 90 degrees to the left of where he would be. Then, when the other thugs attack Rey, she jumps on her bike and takes off, moving forward without turning her bike at all, and suddenly she's driving it straight at Teedo, despite it facing 90 degrees to the left moments in the previous shot. BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey looks over her bike and spots Teedo, he is standing on top of a large sand dune with a smaller mound of sand close by on the left of the screen. A few shots later, after Rey is attacked by other scavengers, she rides off in Teedo's direction, and now suddenly that smaller mound of sand has moved much further away from him. (00:00:51)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: As Rey tells BB-8 that he can stay with her, you see the droid behind her from a frontal view. When it cuts to a side angle of BB-8, the lines and details on the side of it's head close to it's "eye" change with more lines appearing, the orange rectangles at the bottom become taller, and the white rectangle box moves higher up. Also in the side view there is some black cone sticking out of what would be BB-8's "face." If it's his eye it's now suddenly sticking out way too far and isn't that extended. If it's the little censor thing that is next to his eye then it's now on the wrong side of his head. (00:00:25)
