Deliberate mistake: This episode takes place in the country of Sudan on the continent of Africa. The Seals go to save some teachers at the American school. The school has concrete wheelchair ramps, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, metal railings. No school in Sudan has such architecture, especially asphalt pavement, its dirt, the asphalt would melt. Answer: Yes. They would have to land 3-4 times for refuelling. The plane could fly with the wheels down, but the additional drag slows the plane and increases fuel consumption.
