Alpha Child - S1-E7

Revealing mistake: As the alien ship approaches Alpha on screen, there is a round, blank area where the model moves, and as the vessel nears the camera, the edge of the cell used for the picture of the vessel is visible.

Alpha Child - S1-E7

Revealing mistake: As Jackie is drawing, Koenig's face comes up on the communicator. As the screen goes from the idle/test pattern screen to the identity screen, you can see the picture jump, suggesting there was a pause in filming to allow the unit with the idle screen and the picture screen to be swapped out.

Movie Nut

Force of Life - S1-E2

Other mistake: As Zoref pulls the reactor door open, the wig wrinkles up on the back of his neck. Also, when the door is half way open, he's still holding it, then he's suddenly several feet away from it when it's still swinging open.

Movie Nut

Force of Life - S1-E2

Other mistake: As they track Zoref, Victor calls for a view of Corridor 16, then after viewing it, calls for Corridor 49. In both views, it is the same Corridor, as evidenced by the number 16 on the lighted wall panel on the corner facing the camera.

Movie Nut

The Last Sunset - S1-E17

Other mistake: After the alien probe emits atmosphere on the surface, there's suddenly full gravity, as evidenced by the first two people walking normally. There was no mention of full gravity on the Moon's surface, as all walking before was in microgravity.

Movie Nut

Earthbound - S1-E14

Character mistake: When Simmons tries to get out of the hibernation chamber, one of the aliens turns and looks at him, while the other one sits up. The shot pans back to Simmons face, then back at the aliens only to show them back in hibernation.

Breakaway - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The first time the two crew men in the moon buggy are seen, the numbers on their suits are eight and three. The next moon buggy scene, the two in the suits are numbered eight and three again at first, but when they're testing the domes, the numbers change to nine and zero.

Movie Nut

Dragon's Domain - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: In the earlier part of the story, Tony was the only survivor and took the pointed module to escape. As Koenig and company return to the probe and dock, the module is back in place.

Movie Nut

Helena Russell: With a history like that, who wants to go back to Earth anyway?

Show generally

Question: Assuming that Moonbase Alpha is on the side facing the Earth (which is seen on the horizon over the base in the pilot episode "Breakaway"), making travel to it and back easier, and the nuclear waste on the far side, away from Earth, wouldn't the explosion propel the moon towards the Earth, thereby dooming Alpha to certain destruction?

Movie Nut

Answer: Not necessarily - The gravitational fields of Earth and the Sun could have deflected the moon away from the solar system.
