Continuity mistake: At the end of the battle between Jaden Yuki and Gravekeeper's Chief, just as the explosion settles, in one shot you see the Gravekeeper's Spear card to the left of Gravekeeper's Chief on the duel disk. However in the next shot Gravekeeper's Spear is replaced with Magician of Black Chaos, which Chief neither has in his deck or ever played in the match. (00:13:35)
Continuity mistake: When everyone returns to the real world, Jaden stands up after waking up. There is then a close-up shot of his foot where Winged Kuriboh is shown on the ground that wasn't there in the previous shot. (00:19:40)
Continuity mistake: When Jaden draws Winged Kuriboh from his deck, he has two fingers pressed against the back of the card. Then there is a close-up shot of the card, where Jaden doesn't move his hand, but when the shot cuts again, he only has one finger pressed against the back of the card. (00:02:45)
