Revealing mistake: When ever anyone leaves or enters the cafe through the front door, it is obvious that the cafe interior is a set and not filmed on location due to the painted scenery seen through the door.
Visible crew/equipment: Camera lights are reflected in the side of the hearse when it pulls up outside the pub.
Continuity mistake: Cleggy has at least 2 different sofas and armchairs in different shades of leather, and his letterbox moves from the bottom of his door to the middle.
Revealing mistake: When Seymour stands on the zebra crossing to stop Wesley's van, the zebra crossing is obviously a prop as there are no zig-zag lines painted on the road.

Revealing mistake: When Compo, dressed as father Christmas, falls off the roof and down the ladder knocking Seymour and Clegg over, it is obvious that Compo, Seymour and Clegg have been replaced by stunt doubles.
