Continuity mistake: Daniel is supposed to break six pieces of ice. We see the man putting the six pieces in the slots. The shot where Daniel is approaching the ice their are only four pieces of ice. We then see two shots with six pieces of ice. When Daniel finally breaks the ice there are once again only four pieces of ice in the rack. (01:07:30 - 01:08:25)

Continuity mistake: When Daniel is about to break the six pieces of ice, the slabs of ice change from shot to shot. In one shot the 5th piece from the left is peaked and taller than the others. In the next shot of the ice the 3rd piece from the left is the tallest piece of ice. (01:07:50)

Continuity mistake: When Matt and Jenny are on their first date the way she is holding her wine glass changed from shot to shot. First she is holding the bowl of the glass, then the stem, then back to the bowl.

Continuity mistake: When the athletes are on the medal podium the neck ribbon for Jeffy's medal is flat, then twisted, then flat again from shot to shot.

Continuity mistake: When Bob and Robby are eating Mexican food, Robby borrows a bottle of hot sauce from a neighboring table. When he gets done putting the sauce on his food he places the bottle on the right side of the table. The bottle remains there until the end of the conversation. At the very end of the conversation we see that the bottle is now in the center of the table directly between them.

Continuity mistake: When Tripp, his nephew and Paula are at the baseball game we see the mascot coming up the stairs. The next shot, as the nephew says "I'm hungry", Paula is drinking her drink with her right hand. The next shot the drink is in her left hand.

Continuity mistake: When Kit and Paula are drinking champagne, the way Kit hold the fluted glass continually changes between shots. First it is in the middle of the glass, then near the top of the glass then back in the middle. As they sit down her grip is way down at the stem of the glass.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Tripp makes dinner for Paula and his parents, the towel on his shoulder changes positioning throughout his toast.

Continuity mistake: When Paula is meeting with Mom and Dad, Dad asks about sex. At the end of her discussion about sex Mom exhales deeply. The lemon in her tea is standing up on end on top of the ice in her glass. The next shot is from over mom's shoulder and the lemon is now laying sideways in the tea.

Continuity mistake: When Tripp has gotten ready for the day he comes down to the kitchen. We find his mother writing Tortilla Chips on the dry erase board. When Tripp finishes off the OJ in the kitchen he tosses it into the trash can opened by his mother. We see the dry erase board in a couple of different shots and the way it is written changes from shot to shot.

Continuity mistake: When Peaches is on her bed crying, the closeup shot shows her hair on the left side of her neck and chest. The next shot is a wide angle shot from above and her hair is no longer covering her neck and left chest.

Continuity mistake: As Rhonda hands Shawn the glass of water in bed, he holds a cigarette pointing down. The close-up shot shows him receiving the glass of water and passing the cigarette to her with it pointing up. There was not enough time from shot to shot to re-orient the cigarette.

Continuity mistake: When Tate ties the bath robe sash around his neck to auto erotic asphyxiate, it comes from the door knob down the right side of his neck, then around his neck. The next shot, it is coming down the left side of his neck, then around his neck. The following shot, it is back down the right side of his neck again.

Continuity mistake: After Rhonda takes a bath, she pours a glass of water. She then slides next to Shawn in the bed. He has a cigarette in his hand with a lot of ash on the end. The next shot is a closeup of him handing her the cigarette. The ash is now much shorter.

Continuity mistake: When The Dude is sitting in the chair talking to Mr. Lebowski, his jacket is open so that the hole in his shirt shows, then closed, then more open again from shot to shot.

Continuity mistake: Just in time for the impact, the semi truck that kills Toe Cutter instantly has a large metal shield in front, painted to look like the actual front of the truck seen moments earlier. It even has all the lights painted to appear as if they are lit up.

Continuity mistake: When Brian gives Mia a Snapple to drink, she takes a drink of it. Her hand position and the label of the bottle change from the shot from Mia's front and the side shot of them both as she is taking a sip.

Continuity mistake: When Lucille is on the bridge the money falls out of the hat box and hooks onto a small beam. She then puts the hat box on the ground with the lid wide open. After she gets back to safety and the first cop is hassling her, a second cop approaches, he looks down then squats down. When he does we see that the hat box is not wide open, just partially open. Continuity mistake: When Valentine is in the limousine with Mortimer and Randolph, he has a bunch of cigars in his left hand. The position of those cigars change from shot-to-shot. One is hanging down very low when looked at from Randolph's side of the car, then immediately it is even with the others when seen from Mortimer's side. (00:28:00)

Continuity mistake: When Joan leaves the room with the hat box the box is sitting on the bed with the front edge of the box in the center of the overlap of the curtains. When Lucille returns to recover the hat box a few seconds later the hat box has moved to the left about 6 inches and is to the left of the overlap of the curtains. (01:10:25)
