Continuity mistake: In the scene towards the end of the film where we see Slade's body fall, it falls onto a submerged rock just below the surface of the water and there is a splash of water. In the next shot Tarzan looks down from the cliff above and Slade's body is on a large dry rock, a little distant from where the body originally fell.

Bend of the River (1952)

Continuity mistake: In this scene we see Laura shot by a arrow. The arrow hits her in the right upper chest just below the neck. In the next shot they cut out the arrow and it's very clear the arrow has moved to the top of the right shoulder near the collar bone.

Continuity mistake: In the scene towards the end of the film where Tarzan is having a fight to the death with Slade, Tarzan manages to put the wire noose around Slade's neck. Next shot you see is Slade losing his balance at the edge of the cliff and about to fall. The noose somehow comes off Slade's neck and is discarded by Tarzan (to the right side): it falls on the cliff and appears to stay there. The next shot, Slade falls to his death and his body is on a rock below. Mysteriously the pole with the noose falls out of Slade's hand into the water.

Flat Top (1952)

Continuity mistake: In this scene we see a flight of Navy Corsair fighters leaving the deck of an aircraft carrier on a training run. While in the air a close up shot of the flight leader's cockpit reveals that the aircraft in the background have changed into Grumman Wildcat fighters. When they make their attack run it's back to Corsair fighters with no sign of the Wildcat fighters.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Tarzan rescues Connie from a lynching, Connie jumps onto the horse ridden by Tarzan with her hands firmly tied behind her back. They then ride into the desert followed by their captors. A close up shot shows Connie is untied and is holding onto Tarzan. In the next few shots Connie's hands are once again tied behind her back.

The Far Horizons (1955)

Continuity mistake: Sacajawea (Donna Reed) dives into the water to retrieve some important maps, which have fallen in and been taken to the back of the boat. When she dives in, the maps are back to the original area they fell into, when they should have been quite a distance from where they landed in the water.

Operation Pacific (1951)

Continuity mistake: When the Japanese ship is about to be torpedoed, there are no numbers or letters on its side. In the next shot, when the ship explodes, a large white "265" is visible on the port side of the ship.

Sahara (1943)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where a gun battle with the enemy has ended, Sgt. Joe Gunn calls out the names of the soldiers. All answer except the South African soldier (Stegman). Gunn makes his way to the trench where Stegman is. Gunn sees Stegman has been shot dead. He takes Stegman's hat and there is a bullet hole in the hat but no blood on the hat or on his shirt. For a head shot there would be a considerable amount of blood. (01:09:50)

Continuity mistake: In the very last minute of the film, Cheetah (the chimp) drinks some water that was from the fountain of youth and instantly changes into a baby chimp. But the baby chimp is a different species - a monkey with a long tail - and appears fully grown for that type of monkey.
