Question: How can Flanders afford stuff like a huge boat and a motorhome if he doesn't make a lot of money?
Answer: From time to time he has explained his above average income has come from a variety of reasons. First of all he has mentioned from time to time of other business ventures he has been involved. At one time he was doing advertisements when he shaved his moustache and another he was trading in religious website store. Secondly the Leftorium that he runs has had his highs and lows which would explain why he can sometimes afford more expensive items. Thirdly he seems to be quite clever when it comes to saving and business. For example he showed Homer about the Mega Savers course that showed about how to buy more expensive items at lower prices.
And he was once a successful pharmacist. He says so when he burns his tie announcing the Leftorium.

Question: How come Sideshow Bob only wants to kill Bart? In "Krusty Gets Busted", Bart and Lisa together investigated the crime and concluded that Krusty was framed. So Sideshow Bob should be going after Lisa too.
Answer: Essentially Bart was the main figure behind Sideshow Bob being arrested and convicated. While Lisa helped Bart gather some of the clues, it only lead them to the theory that someone else was behind the robbery. It wasn't until Bart noticed the size of Bob's feet compared to Krusty's feet that he discovered it was Bob who framed Krusty.

Question: Has any episode revealed what Marge's natural haircolor is? In the flashbacks in "The Way We Weren't", she is shown as a child with blue hair, and it turns brown when another girl burns it. However, I saw another episode where she walks past her mirror, notices a brown spot of hair showing, then picks up a can and sprays blue to cover it up.
Answer: I would have to assume that the everchanging answers to many questions of the characters in the show means there isn't any definitive answer to this question. However in the episode when Homer is teaching a "Secrets to a successful marriage" class he mentions that she dyes her hair blue because she has been grey as a mule for a long time. Later on Marge questions Homer about why he revealed she dyed her hair.

Question: Does anyone actually know what happened to Dr. Marvin Monroe?
Answer: It has never been been revealed what happened to Marvin Monroe, only that he died and his tombstone was the first time there had been any mention of him. Monroe had never been an popular character and perhaps the tombstone would put to rest what had happened to him. In a fairly recent episode he reappeared and when asked about what had happened to him and he mentioned he had been very sick.

Question: Does Ralph have some form of learning difficulty?
Answer: Its fairly obvious that its either a learning difficulty or his intelligence is not too high. His character has varied at times, in early seasons he was able to continue simple conversations like in the episode "I Love Lisa". In more recent seasons his character has trouble even doing that and cannot handle even the most simple of tasks.
Answer: It is revealed in another episode that Bart had three other friends and for a funny gag showed us Wiggum dropping baby Ralph on his head and then him failing to put the milk bottle in his mouth.

Question: In The Simpsons quotes, does anyone know what episode the third quote is from (the one with Jo-Jo Junior or something like that)?
Answer: Its the Season 5 episode "The Last Temptation of Homer". The quote is from the part when Homer is in the bar asking for advice about his attraction to a co-worker and gives the very unusual Jo-Jo Junior name as cover.

Question: Which state is "Springfield" supposed to be in?
Answer: Its the most asked question of the show and there has never been an definitive answer. Despite clues in certain episode no one has been able to link which state the Springfield in the show is in. Many fans believe Springfield is based on Portland, Oregon where Matt Groening grew up because of certain similarities in the show.

Question: In the scene where the fans turn against Chief Wiggum in Moe's Cavern, Moe says something to the Be Sharps manager about paying girls to scream. When the manager says "I didn't pay any girls to scream" Moe has a shocked look on his face and then turns off the Cavern's neon light and drives away fast. I've tried very hard but cannot get this joke. Can anyone explain it to me?

Question: In the intro to the show, just before Homer's car arrives at the garage, there is a crash pan across several screens-worth of characters. Are these characters significant in any way or are they just random people?
Chosen answer: Actually it looks like many are large characters but I guess it's a quick way to show as many of the characters as possible. If you freeze frame the shots you can see the characters Milhouse, Nelson, Jimbo, Patty and Selma, Grampa Simpson, Dr Hibbert, Flanders and his wife and many more.

Answer: The only explanation I could find is that some jackets have mittens sewn to them to help prevent the wearer from losing the mittens. Whether this comment is a reflection of the mental state of the children is a possibility.
