Stupidity: Amazing during the final battle, Electro lets Doc Ock get near him while forgetting that he saw him get cured earlier.

Rob245

Other mistake: Doc Ock's weakness in Spider-Man 2 was electricity, which knocked him out. Yet Electro doesn't bother him as he's shooting off jolts prior to Ock curing him.

Question: Since Norman doesn't die, does this mean Harry won't die either? What would happen to Oscorp once he's exposed?

Rob245

Question: Once cured and returned home, won't some of the villains, like the Lizard, still go to jail anyway?

Rob245

Answer: More than likely... but that doesn't strictly matter. They'll still have been cured, avoided death, and "saved" in a sense. Even if they lose their freedom, they still are going to have a happier ending than they would have otherwise.

Remember that Oscorp is a corrupt company in the Amazing series. More than likely, both Connors and Dillon might be killed in prison under orders, so some happy ending.

Rob245

That's a very bold assumption to make, especially considering they DIDN'T kill Connors after the events of the original "Amazing Spider-Man." At most, Connors will remain in prison. But I don't even know about Dillon. There's an exceedingly high chance he could just walk, especially presuming he'd be teleported back to around the time he was originally killed, and the world would think he's dead.

Continuity mistake: In addition to the sweatshirt or turtleneck, Ock's wearing the pair of sunglasses he wore for the bank robbery. Impossible as those were broken by Aunt May. He should've had on the other pair he wore late in the movie.

Suggested correction: When you think about it, the Doc Ock that shows up both knows who Spider-Man is and is still being controlled by the tentacles. In Spiderman 2 this happens minutes before his death, when he convinces the tentacles to listen to him now. So, he had to have been pulled out during his exchange with Spiderman, which seems highly unlikely. Or, this is an even different Doc Ock that still has that pair of sunglasses and probably found out who Spider-Man was at a different point in time.

Continuity mistake: Doc Ock is supposedly from Spider-Man 2 yet here he's gained a sweatshirt or turtleneck whereas in that movie he didn't have one. It's made clear he was pulled from his timeline just before his death, so he should be wearing the same thing.

Suggested correction: I mean how much time took place between the spell casting and his arrival at the bridge? I'm sure there was some confusion.
