Trivia: Just a cute background detail: At the beginning of the film, a character briefly mentions that she wants to be "Miss Arizona." If you look closely at the background at the end of the film, you can see her standing around with a "Miss Arizona" sash on. Evidently she made it.

Trivia: The film was directed by Ivan Reitman, whose son Jason Reitman is also a well-known film director. It was actually Jason's idea for the characters to do a Head and Shoulders commercial at the end of the film.

Trivia: During the shoot in Arizona, Dan Aykroyd would have fun by randomly show up at the houses of locals to hang out and have a cup of coffee. He also helped out at local businesses.
