Trivia: Every film has a lead character named after a plant: Ivy in the original, Lily in the second film, Violet in the third film, and Daisy in this film. This film also contains a secondary character named after a plant - the villainous character Azalea.

Trivia: Unlike the first three movies, which were all theatrical or direct-to-video movies, this fourth "Poison Ivy" film was actually made as a Lifetime Original TV movie. (Albeit one that later got an extended, unrated video release containing a great deal of nudity.)
