Nocturne - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: When Clark goes down to the basement after breaking the lock, there is light shining down into the basement; not nearly as much as there was in the previous shot.

Duplicity - S2-E3

Plot hole: In this episode, Pete comes across Clark's spaceship in a field, where it landed after the tornadoes hit the town during the last episode of Season 1. The Kents knew the spaceship was gone, and of course it was important that they attempt to get it back as soon as possible so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. With Clark's speed and X-Ray vision, he should have been able to find the ship after not too long of a search (especially since it was within a few hundreds yards of a road). It seems implausible that he would not have looked for it, given its importance.

Pilot - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the scene where Lex crashes into Clark, the close shot shows Lex driving, but the far shot shows an obvious stunt double behind the wheel.

Lexmas - S5-E9

Plot hole: Lex is shot in Granville, yet is taken to Smallville Medical Center. It looked like he was in a downtown area, and it's unreasonable to assume that there wasn't a closer hospital in Granville to which he should have been taken.

Spirit - S4-E18

Plot hole: When Dawn enters Clark's body, she slaps Chloe in the face with the back of the hand, and Chloe goes flying. A few minutes later, we see Chloe get up and say that she's fine. Getting backhanded by Clark would make you very far from fine. First of all, Clark can knock someone out just by tapping them on the forehead, as seen in a previous episode. Second, Dawn has no idea of Clark's powers, so she would have used way more force than she actually needed to. The amount of force inflicted from the attack should have caused fatal injuries to Chloe. There's not even a cut or bruise or anything.

Scare - S4-E10

Factual error: When Lionel is leaving the prison, there is a bus unloading convicts as he walks past. No prison in the world would ever unload inmates and release an inmate in the same area at the same time.

Truth - S3-E18

Factual error: Clark lifts Chloe's car by the back. He is only holding on to the very back left portion of the car, yet while he's turning it, the car is completely horizontal. The front of the car would buckle since it weighs so much and isn't being handled by its center of gravity.

Red - S2-E4

Other mistake: The physics of what happens to the mallet after it hits the ring are completely unrealistic. No matter what the actual composition of red kryptonite contains, there is no way that it could reflect all of the force that was impacted upon it. Clark was also weakened by the green kryptonite. Jonathan's swing of the mallet and Clark's weakened strength would not have allowed him to keep his arm out after being struck by the mallet.

Heat - S2-E2

Plot hole: When Clark uses his heat vision to heat the metal door handle to prevent Desiree from escaping, he only heats one handle. I know that things were happening fast, but it wouldn't have taken him that much more time to heat both handles, which he should have done since there is no way he could have known that she would have tried that particular handle.

Crush - S1-E19

Other mistake: When Justin launches the chainsaw towards Chloe, Clark steps in and it breaks upon hitting his chest. However, there is no damage at all done to his clothes. There should have been at least a tear in his shirt. He's not wearing Super-Plaid.
