Continuity mistake: Sidney's newspaper article in 1-8 "Desperate Souls" stated that Emma was arrested in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1996. However, this is directly contradicted in this episode, which shows that Emma was actually arrested in Portland, eleven years before the frame story, meaning that the arrest took place in 2001 (since "Selfless, Brave and True" establishes that Emma arrived in Storybrooke in October 2011, and the frame story of "Tallahassee" takes place a few months later, in 2012; the year 2001 is confirmed in 3-22 "There's No Place Like Home"). It can be glimpsed during her date with Ryan, and is visible when she's sitting at the table with Mary Margaret in "The Thing You Love Most", and when she's on the phone with Ruby in "Red-Handed." However, when she opens the door for Henry in "Pilot", the tattoo is gone. The same thing happens when she unlocks the door to her room at the inn in "The Thing You Love Most" (in the scene where she is evicted), and when she's pressing a pack of ice against her wound in "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter."

Continuity mistake: In the giant's treasure room, there are many giant gold coins near the skeleton of Jack the Giant Killer. The amount and position of the coins repeatedly changes. Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Sheriff of Nottingham (his Storybrooke counterpart) tries to apologize to Mr. Gold, they're at the corner of the Rabbit Hole, and in some shots, the clock tower building is seen behind the Sheriff. In other shots, there's a completely different building behind him. In the same scene, Mr. Gold alternates between standing right by the corner, and standing a couple of meters away. (00:35:40)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Gold and Lacey are on a date at Granny's Diner, when Granny comes with their drinks, she moves her hand towards Gold's glass of ice tea, sitting on the tray. In the next shot, we hear the clinking of ice as Granny picks up the glass, as well as the sound of the glass being put on the table, off-screen, on Gold's left. In the next shot, the glass has mysteriously moved to Gold's right, even though the camera was on him the whole time, and he never moved it. (00:25:00)
