Galaxy Quest (1999)

Corrected entry: When Nesmith is taking his ride in the Limo to what he thinks is a fan-based appearance, he is given a can of Coca-Cola to drink. The can has the traditional white, vertical 'Coca-Cola' writing on an all-red can. The next scene of him on the space ship shows him drinking from the same can, yet it now has the special-edition black, white & silver, diagonal 'Coca-Cola' lettering on a metallic red can.

Correction: The Coke can cannot be seen when they're in the limo. Regardless, time obviously passes between the time Nesmith is in the limo and when he regains conciousness on the ship. It is entirely possible the original can of Coke didn't make it out of the limo, and the Thermians merely gave him another can for when he woke up.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Harry first arrives at Sirius's house, Ginny is seen laughing at Tonks's nose. In one shot, she has her hand over her mouth, laughing. In the next shot, a wideshot of the whole table, her hand is no longer over her mouth and she has a straight face.

Correction: There was more than enough time for her to move her hand. It takes only a split second to do so.

Zodiac (2007)

Correction: Not necessarily a mistake. I still have last year's calendar hanging in my kitchen. Some of us are just lazy.

WhyJillWhy

Seems like an error to me. Being lazy to take down an old calendar is understandable, but the movie text states the date is December 1983 and the calendar is showing February 1980. Leaving an old calendar up for almost 4 years in public view seems unlikely, and suddenly stopping even using that calendar in February seems equally unlikely. I'm inclined to think that the scene was shot with all props in place, and date text for those final scenes was added towards the end of editing and the calendar was overlooked at that point.

Freedom Writers (2007)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Miss Gruwell is playing the line game with her students, she asks them to stand on the line if they have the new "Snoop Dogg" album. The film takes place in 1994, and Snoop was still known as Snoop Doggy Dogg back then. He didn't change his name to Snoop Dogg until 1996.

Correction: Mrs. Gruwell was not familiar with rap music. It's entirely possible she just got the name wrong. The kids were always teasing her about how she kept trying to be cool but wasn't.
