Factual error: Extended version. After finding a dying Bill Carson, Tuco arrives at an outpost looking for a hospital. It's night, or at least dark outside - he is told the hospital is 18 miles away. In the next scene he arrives at the hospital at nearly high noon. A horse canters and gallops (full speed) between 4-30 mph. Basically the hospital was an hour away.

Question: When Glenn Close (Bennett) tears up the signed papers at the end, I wondered is she legally allowed to do that?
Chosen answer: The paper required her signature as Vice President to make it legally binding, she refused to sign it earlier in the movie so it wouldn't have been a legal document at the point she tore it up - so theoretically yes, she would have been able to.

Chosen answer: They were still high enough in the air where there was little chance of being heard or if they were, it would be muffled. Also, they're kids. They are not always capable of restraining their emotions or enthusiasm when they should. It is also a means to heighten the scene's mood (enthusiasm and success) and show the audience what emotions the characters are feeling at the time.
