Continuity mistake: When Superman first pulls the stack down to use as a slide for the workers, the bottom where it came out of the roof was a dark color. When the people go to slide down, it's all silver colored.

Other mistake: As Lorelei is held on the wall, there appears to be a chrome ball attached to the belt she has on to give a reference point, and animation was added to complete the scene.

Continuity mistake: When Superman takes Clark's glasses, he folds one arm of the glasses in. A moment later, that arm is extended, and he folds both arms and crushes them.

Question: In the original Superman television series, Superman created a duplicate of himself so that he could be in two places at once. However, as one went to pull the bars out of the wall, he had to have the other help, as the strength of one was half that of the original. That said, how is it that both Clark and Evil Superman have the same strength of the whole being after being split?

Chosen answer: The effects of Red Kryptonite on Superman are always random and unpredictable. In the comics, the effect lasts 24 hours, however, for a film, they last as long as the writer needs them to. This time, it copied all of his powers as well to make the Evil Superman.

Revealing mistake: After throwing Clark into the compacter, Evil Superman flies to the control booth. As he walks through the door, the background can be seen through him.
