Trivia: For a film set largely in Russia, none of GoldenEye's main cast are actually Russian. Famke Janssen is Dutch, Gottfried John is German, Tchéky Karyo is French, Robbie Coltrane and Alan Cumming are Scottish, and Izabella Scorupco is Polish-Swedish. While Bond films often cast actors as different nationalities, this may be one of the most amusing examples.
