Continuity mistake: There is a display next to Cassie that has planets hanging from strings. The one on the far right is a white/yellow colour as she is pouring liquid into her volcano. After Scott shrugs and says he's going to run off to the bathroom, the far right planet has changed to blue. (00:00:10)

Continuity mistake: When Scott is trying to tell Cassie that it just takes a minute, before he jets off to the bathroom to shrink down, there is a guy standing behind him in a black shirt and shiny black hair looking at a pink sign. He then shrugs and the camera pulls back just before he takes off, and the guy in the black shirt has vanished. Also, the sign that had pink on it is now all white, and a green hot air balloon appears on the ceiling. (00:00:15)

Continuity mistake: After Scott realises he forgot to give his daughter the baking powder for her volcano, the decorations on the volcano have changed. Several trees and signs around it move, and the pink lava flow on the right side shrinks and is cut in half. (00:00:15)

Continuity mistake: After her teacher walks up, Cassie jumps up excited to pour the chemicals into her volcano to set it off. It cuts to a quick reaction shot of Scott realizing he forgot to give her the baking soda. Then it cuts back to Cassie; suddenly, she is sitting down in a green chair and her teacher's hand is on the back of the chair. Also, her position next to the volcano has changed; note the corner of the board when she's standing then sitting. (00:00:15)

Continuity mistake: Cassie is first seen talking to her dad; she is shown sitting in a green chair in her close-up. When the camera angle changes to a far shot showing her volcano, suddenly the green chair has vanished. It appears again in her close-ups. (00:00:05)

Revealing mistake: As the teacher is walking up to Cassie's volcano experiment at the Science Fair, there are many people scattered about in the background around the room and at different exhibits. Except for Scott, the teacher, and Cassie, everybody else is perfectly still like statues. It's distracting, especially with them positioned all around supposedly mingling, walking, and looking at other experiments. Everybody is static. (00:00:05)
