Star Fox 64

Factual error: On the Solar level, the other Star Fox team members only take damage from heat while they are talking. Being on the Lylat System star, they would be constantly taking heat damage just like Fox.

Factual error: The wrestler is killed by Snake stabbing the back of his head with a spiked bat, having rather long and thick spikes on it. As the Wrestler falls against the net, the back of his head is shown as he is slumped over the net. There is no wound on his head, nor any trace of blood, despite having one or more large spikes just jammed into it. (01:16:55)

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Factual error: The rocket that little Tran fired at the helicopter towards the climax travels much too slowly. Peck would not have had time to react to it if it moved at a proper speed, much less throw a heavy mechanical device through the air to intercept.

Factual error: At the end of the bridge shoot out, Earl and Hank accidentally drive the van off the bridge and land in a garbage barge. This would not have happened, as at the time of this movie garbage barges were no longer used for transporting trash, to make LA a greener city. Mistake admitted to on DVD Commentary. (00:44:55)

Factual error: At the police chase training, Earl jumps out of his car and it crashes into some barrels, and causes a huge explosion. The police academy would not have had explosive barrels out on a car obstacle course like that, endangering their trainees. (00:09:45)

Factual error: Moments before Hank sees Charlie get shot, he tries to shoot through a window to get to him. The bullets have no effect, so he says, "It's bullet proof! I'm coming in!" He tries the door, and it's locked, so shoots the window again, having absolutely no effect. The glass would have at least cracked and shown signs of where the bullets were hitting. Even bullet proof glass is damaged by bullets. This glass was in perfect condition the whole time. (00:04:35)

Factual error: When Hank and Charlie first arrive at the warehouse that is being robbed, they shine their spotlight on the opened door. They are shining it through a gate with bars. But in the shots showing the light on the door, there are now shadows cast by the gate. (00:02:25)

Factual error: When Toothless zooms in and catches Astrid while she's falling, he was moving so fast that he would have pulled her leg out of the socket when he grabbed it, if not totally ripping it off. (01:19:55)

The One (2001)

Factual error: When Gabe is confronted by his fellow officers after they think he went crazy, he gets into a short fight with them. He subdues them handcuffing them together and to a wheelchair. The chains on the handcuffs are much too long as to what they should be. This was done to allow the stunt to be done correctly. (00:37:40)

The One (2001)

Factual error: Just after TK gets the gun for Yulaw, who is pretending to be Gabe, she sees the real Gabe out the window. It cuts to him crouching behind a fence, with his dog in front of him. The dog has its back to the camera, and is facing Gabe while sitting down. Here, they dubbed over a sound of a dog growling to make it more suspenseful. But that part is entirely wrong. One, it is Gabe's own dog, who in a previous scene was happy to see Gabe and wagging his tail. He would not be growling at his master in such a manner at this point. The dog is also sitting down in a relaxed posture. If the dog was actually growling at him in such a threatening manor, it would not be sitting down, but standing and head lowered. (00:56:00)

Factual error: At Valentin's Caviar factory, one of the lumbering choppers cuts through Bond's car. It is obvious that saw blades cutting through metal cause a high volume of sparks. Yet as the saws cut, the car is simply split in half down the middle, and falls apart. This would have ignited the gas tank, and the car would have exploded. Not to mention all the modifications Q has made to the car, with rockets and other explosive goodies.

Daredevil (2003)

Factual error: After Matt beats down King Pin, he throws a rose off the roof and says. "This is for you, dad." The rose then spins and falls in various positions, hitting petals first on the ground. This would not be how it fell. The petals are light, and the stem heavier. Plus, the petals would have more air resistance. The rose would have fallen stem first the full way down and landed on that.

Daredevil (2003)

Factual error: Even with a highly sensitive sense of smell, Matt could not possibly have smelled Electra walking down the street towards the diner that he and his friend were sitting in. There was no evidence of wind, as judging by her hair, and she had not even opened the door yet. Without wind, the air particles, which would carry her sent would follow behind her in a wake. They could not have gotten to the door ahead of her without wind, much less get though a closed door for Matt to smell her.

Die Another Day (2002)

Factual error: In the scene with the mining lasers, Mr.Kill positions a laser to be able to cut off Jinx's head. If you'll notice, the laser is still on and firing as he moves it. The way it spins down to get by Jinx, the trajectory would have already cut through Jinx. And even if not, it would have damaged the table she is on. However, when it cuts to the next shot showing the laser next to her head, there is no damage to the table, except to where the laser is directly contacting the table at that moment. No other damage is visible, despite it being on while being moved into position.

Goldeneye (1995)

Factual error: At the climax of the movie, when Bond is holding Trevelyan by his foot over the dried lake and the dialog exchange of "For England, James?" "No... for me.", Bond lets go of Trevelyan. He then falls a very long distance onto solid concrete. A short time later, the movie shows Trevelyan still alive and moving his head around. This is not possible. A fall from that that height, especially falling on concrete, would have killed him instantly. The shot of him hitting showed him landing on his head and back first. This would have crushed his skull, and snapped his spine. Even if that didn't kill him, it would have knocked him out cold. The mistake goes even further though. The antenna array then explodes and falls on Trevelyan, while he screams at the top of his lungs. Even if someone was somehow able to survive that fall, the damage done to their body would have caused massive internal damage and bleeding. Trevelyan's lungs would have filled with blood. There is no way he could have screamed, let alone that loudly. So this mistake is twofold. The fall would have killed him instantly. And even if not, he could not have possibly screamed. (01:59:05)

Suggested correction: This is simply your opinion. There is record of people surviving skydiving falls where their chutes didn't open. While it is likely he would have died on impact or been unable to move or scream if surviving, it is not a certainty.
