Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the last scene with Victoria, she's looking through the window at Bella and Edward at the prom. But if they were at such close proximity, Edward should have heard Victoria's thoughts, as he does near the end of Twilight: Eclipse.

Correction: Edward can hear thoughts of people around him, yes. But they were at a dance with hundreds of kids, so she was simply lost in the cacophony.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene, Alice and Esme are wearing baseball caps that visibly have a C for Cullen on them. Rosalie is wearing a baseball cap too. But why does Rosalie's cap have a G on it instead of a C?

mimi909

Correction: This isn't trivia, it's a question. Rosalie's last name is Hale, so if there's not a C then one would think it'd be an H.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: Early in the movie, Bella is sat around the table with her friends as they teasingly say, "My girlfriend!" Then one of the boys runs up behind her and kisses her on the cheek. If you watch Bella's reaction, she barely even flinches. She has only been a student at the school a short time. Don't you think this is an odd under reaction for someone who has just had wet lips of a total stranger pressed on them from behind?

FuroraCeltica

Correction: Matter of opinion. Everyone has their own personality and their own reactions to social situations. Her reaction is no more a mistake than is the guy kissing her in the first place.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital after the vampire attack, it shows her face and one minute the nose thing is on top of her eyebrow, then it shows another view and it's in the spot it should be in. Then it changes again and it's back on her eyebrow. It keeps going back and forth.

Correction: The nasal cannula mistake has already been noted and submitted. Several times.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: During the scene where Bella asks Edward if there are "other vampires out there," Edward responds with a "yeah" without his mouth moving at all. (01:00:40)

Correction: You can say "Yeah" without any visible motion.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the prom scenes, when Bella and Edward are walking into the prom, there are numerous shots of people dancing. In one particular shot, Victoria can be seen standing in front of a big game wheel which is part of the Monte Carlo theme. Wouldn't Edward somehow have sensed that she was near?

Correction: No. Edward can hear thoughts, not "sense" the presence of individuals. There's a room full of people whose thoughts and voices are drowning out Victoria's thoughts.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene, when Jasper hits the ball and runs, you see Carlisle run to third base. But when Rosalie hits the second time, Carlisle runs again to third base.

Correction: Already submitted and corrected. This is a common occurrence in baseball. It's called "stealing third" and Carlisle failed.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Taylor tells the story of the Cullens, the flashback shows Carlisle, Edward, Emmett and Rosalie. Where is Esme then? Edward explained to Bella that Carlisle first turned him into a vampire before turning Esme in the movie.

Correction: So they don't show Esme. Doesn't mean she wasn't around. At any rate, in the books she becomes a vampire before Rosalie and Emmett, but no such thing is said in the films. If they decide to change that relatively minor detail that's no mistake.

Corrected entry: In the first diner scene, Bella gets the ketchup for her burger but doesn't put any on.

Correction: She tries, but the squeeze bottle was empty. Which is why Charlie didn't reach for it after she put it down, even though they both wanted ketchup.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward pushes James into the mirrors, James doesn't have blood on the right side of his lower lip. But when Edward bites him, the blood is there. That can't be right, because vampires can't bleed.

Correction: It's never stated in the film that vampires don't bleed, so this isn't a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward drives Bella to school, she looks out the window and it is dark and rainy, but when they arrive at school it is a lot lighter and Edward comes out of the Volvo wearing sunglasses, stating that it is a sunny day. But this could not be possible: Edward should be sparkling.

replayheat64

Correction: School starts in the morning, while the sun is still rising during part of the school year. So it makes sense that it got lighter. Edward never says it's a sunny day, he's just wearing glasses. And there's no reason he shouldn't.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In both the scenes where Edward, and the rest of the Cullen teens are sitting at the school's cafeteria, you can see them with hot dogs, salads, apples and other snacks. This contradicts the scene where Bella arrives at the Cullen's home for dinner, and it is revealed that the Cullen family never eats and is cooking for the first time. They eat stuff other than animals they hunt.

Correction: When Bella visits their home it is revealed only that they've never used their own kitchen before. It would be rather suspicious if the Cullens didn't at least keep up appearances during lunchtime.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In scene where Bella and Charlie are in the restaurant, Bella and Charlie reach for the ketchup together. Charlie lets Bella get it, but none comes out.

Correction: So it was empty, and Bella gave up on it. You'll notice Charlie does not reach for it after Bella puts it down even though he wanted some; he knows now that there's none to be had in that bottle.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Jacob comes to the beach and sees Bella he is apparently with Quil and Embry. But in the credits, there is no Embry Call. There is a Sam Uley, but that makes no sense, since Jacob doesn't hang out will Sam till New Moon (2nd book) because he thinks he is bad.

Correction: First, movie and book discrepancies are not movie mistakes. Second, the character is clearly Sam, with or without the credit, as noted by his tone when speaking of the Cullens. None of the other boys in the tribe believed enough in the stories to have that level of dislike toward the Edward and the others. Finally, Sam did not begin acting strangely and therefore gaining Jacob's dislike until the events of New Moon, so there's no reason at this point in the story for Jacob, Quil, and Sam not to be hanging out together.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: This happens during the vampire baseball scene, when Jasper is up to bat. While Alice is winding up to throw the ball, you can see Carlisle running off of second base. However, after Jasper swings, Carlisle is running off of second base again. (01:20:45)

Correction: A player on first may choose to begin running to second before the pitcher has actually pitched, decide they've left too early (giving the pitcher time to throw the ball to the first basemen instead of the catcher getting said player out), and therefore choose to return to first, only to begin their run to second again once they deem the time right. This is the scenario Carlisle found himself in.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: Edward saves Bella by standing between her truck and the careening van. He may be strong enough to not be crushed, but he's wearing ordinary shoes and has an unremarkable body weight. The coefficient of friction between his shoes and the pavement wouldn't keep him from being shoved into Bella's truck, putting a dent in it as well.

Correction: Pushing his body down on impact, using the van as leverage, gives him additional resistance from sliding. Also, this is just how super-strength works in every movie, book, etc that features it. It's supernatural, so applying laws of nature to it is pretty redundant.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella and Edward make their way across the car park together meeting everyone's stares, it is a hot day. However Edward does not glitter in the sunlight as he is meant to.

Correction: "Hot" does not equal "sunny".

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: After she's bitten by James, we see Bella in the hospital as she reflects on her life with Edward. During this, we see them together lying down in the snow as they look into each other's eyes, although at no time during the film did this happen.

Correction: We don't see every moment of every day of the character's lives.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward jumps off of Bella's car, he slips in and out of a British accent in the line, "So you're worried, not because you'll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won't approve of you."

Correction: The character Edward has lived outside the U.S. in the hundred years he's been a vampire. It's not unlikely he'd have had to pick up an accent somewhere to blend in better.
