Continuity mistake: When the three bad guys make for the car after taking Mr. Kuraki with them, two of them are headed for the right hand side and the bad guy with the purple jumper runs to the left side. Other mistake: When Tintin is knocked on his head by the third bad guy, the shot cuts to an overview angle that shows the bad guys making for their car. Two of them bad guys, (the one with the club in his right hand and the one with the teal jumper) just vanish into the car as the enter. They are shown running but are never shown crouching down or reaching for the door handle or anything relating to actually entering the car. (00:06:40)

Revealing mistake: Just after Tintin has beaten up the two bad guys, he gets hit on the head and lands on the ground on his stomach with Snowy wrapped around his arm. There is an error in the animation that occurs during the shot. Snowy is visible under Tintin, but then Snowy's head is shown going part way above Tintin's jumper. (00:06:35)

Continuity mistake: After the two bad guys have knocked out Mr. Kuraki, they take him to their car and place him in the back seat. The back left door is already closed, and one of the bad guys closes the back right door. After the third bad guy hits Tintin over the head, an overview shot shows the back doors open. The third bad guy was shown exiting the driver's door, not using the back doors. (00:06:00 - 00:06:40)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: After Tintin has noticed Snowy gnawing on the bone, Tintin says "Let's just darken these letters and see what comes up". During the shot of him darkening the letters, the area of the letters on the wrapper that were darkened is differently animated than the area that hasn't been darkened yet. For example, the area of the letters on the wrapper that had been darkened is a dark white color. But the area that hadn't been darkened is a bright white color. This goes for the areas that weren't darkened by the pencil at all. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: Tintin is back at his apartment reading the wrapper from the Crabe Extra tin with "Karaboudjan" written on it. Just before he says "Yes, there's something definitely written here", he has lifted the wrapper off the table with his thumb placed on the front and his four other fingers placed on the back. In the next shot, the wrapper is now flat on the table and his four fingers are now placed on the front. (00:05:15)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin is back at his apartment reading over the wrapper, the only things on his desk are the wrapper and pencil in the shot where he says "Only I can't read it" and the desk is also in front of the chair Tintin is sitting at. Later on, after Tintin returns to his apartment after the three bad guys have kidnapped Mr. Kuraki, a phone has suddenly appeared on Tintin's desk and the desk is now on the left of the chair. Revealing mistake: When the Thompson's discover that Tintin is rummaging through the bins in order to find the Crabe Extra tin, one of them says "Tintin. Whatever are you doing?" and the other detective is shown stopping next to Tintin, altering the position of his cane. As soon as he stops altering the cane, the bottom of the cane is shown, through Tintin, overlapping with the bin. (00:04:15)

Continuity mistake: As Tintin is rummaging through the bins, he says "It's got to be in here somewhere, Snowy." In this shot, the bin is bright blue. The shot cuts over to Snowy growling, but when the shot cuts the detectives entering the scene and one of them says "Tintin", in reaction to him rummaging the bins, the bin is now bright turquoise. Continuity mistake: When Tintin borrows the torn out part of the wrapper, he and Snowy go to leave the office and the shot cuts back to Thompson and Thomson. For the very first frame of the shot, the top of the pile shows two blue files and on the bottom is two darker blue files. The bottom two files are shown with dark blue edges. Then within that same shot, a frame after, it is now a blue file at the top of the pile and a red file below the blue file and the edges from the dark blue files have vanished. (00:03:50)

Other mistake: When Tintin discovers the torn out part of the wrapper, Tintin asks "What are these?" and one of the detectives reply "Objects found on a drowning victim." At this moment, the Thompsons are shown holding six files in their hands, but the way they are shown holding it would never be possible. This is mainly due to the fact that the second file is located on top of another file to the left, but there are four others on top. These four files are creating too much weight and would have fallen over. (00:03:35)
