Trivia: This film was originally intended to be an entry in the DCEU, with Ben Affleck reprising the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, as well as directing. However, Affleck became disinterested in continuing to play the character, so the film was re-imagined as a standalone story.

Trivia: Nirvana's "Something in the Way" from their 1991 landmark album "Nevermind" saw a surge in digital streams when it was featured in the trailer for this film, and then again upon the film's release, which features the song twice.
