Corrected entry: During Jigsaw's seizure, Lynn runs over to the shelves that have all the bottles of pills and starts looking for a certain type of pill. The first time you see the shelves all of the bottles are knocked over and strewn around. The shot cuts to Amanda holding Jigsaw down, then back to Lynn looking for pills. For some reason most of the pill bottles have now magically been put upright and look fairly organized. (00:39:25)

Corrected entry: In the closing scene where the Operative tells the Alliance soldiers to stand down, one of the soldiers (almost out of frame) lowers a set microphone.
Correction: I've watched this scene multiple times and I cannot see a microphone anywhere. Every soldier is holding a gun and nothing else. Where abouts is this microphone? "Almost out of frame" isn't very precise.

Corrected entry: Isabella's fingernails change length several times throughout the movie. They go from long to short, then back to long again several times.
Correction: Most fashionable women now (my 25 year old daughter included) use those press-on nails, and from day to day, even from morning to afternoon, they will sport normal short nails or long cultured looking nails, depending on how the mood takes them.

Corrected entry: When Jigsaw first says "I call it The Rack" you see shots of the guy's hand and feet. There is blood coming out of the spots where the bolts are going through, and the blood is dripping down onto the parts of The Rack, but when the machine actually starts to turn his hands (right one) there is no blood to be seen.
Correction: There most certainly is blood. The stream of blood on his hand is just lighter in volume. But you still can see the blood.

Corrected entry: The scene goes back to Lynn preparing for Jigsaw's surgery after Jeff rescues the judge. There is a shot of Jigsaw watching Lynn and you can see the hand rotary saw lying on a tray beside him. There are various shots of Lynn getting the equipment ready, and one of them shows her testing the saw and they laying it down on the table with the other instruments. There is another shot of Jigsaw watching Lynn, and you can see that the rotary saw is still on the tray beside him.
Correction: This whole scene is a montage, and is not in real time, so she may have moved the rotary saw in between shots.

Corrected entry: The boards all break when Jeff falls out of the box and one of them lands between his arm and his side. Jeff passes out and we see his flashback. Jeff comes to, and now the board is lying across his chest.
Correction: He was passed out and having a very distressing dream/flashback about his last moments before being kidnapped. So, it is entirely plausible that he moved in his sleep and ended up throwing the boards around a bit, (I've seen relatives thrash violently in their sleep) and ended up with one on top of him.

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie Beckett is walking down the stairs of the ship while it's being blown to bits by the cannons from the 2 pirate ships. There's a close up slo-mo shot of the railing being destroyed as he walks down. The railing is consistently being blown up RIGHT behind his hands. The shot cuts away to a view from in-front of him and there's a good 3 feet between his hand and where the railing is broken.
Correction: That's right, there is a slow motion SIDE shot of the upper part of the stair railing being blown up *right* behind Beckett's hand, and then it cuts to a slow motion FRONT shot and the upper part of the stair railing is getting blown up once again. ALL of the action is seen from multiple angles and in dramatic slow motion. This is a deliberate and common filmmaking technique to show a single action or sequence repeatedly from several different angles, by 'turning back time' very slightly in some cases, to show the action from a different perspective. The railing being blown up is one of those cases. Another example is in 'LotR: The Two Towers' when Legolas surfs the stairs.

Corrected entry: Almost all of the women in the hospital scene are wearing earrings or other types of jewelry. My best friend's mother was a doctor for many years and none of the doctors or nurses were allowed to wear any jewelry while they were at work. An earring could fall off into a patient, a ring could get snagged, etc. Too many risks. There shouldn't have been any jewelry being worn in the hospital scene.
Correction: Thats not true in all hospitals. At the hospital in my county all the nurses wear jewelry, so not all hospitals have this rule.

Corrected entry: This goes back to the original Saw, but it's present in the flashback scene in Saw III. When Adam opens up his closet (in the original) he's holding the bat in his right hand and the camera in his left. In the flashback scene you get to see it from Amanda's point of view, and he's holding the bat in his left hand and the camera in his right.
Correction: I just went back and watched this scene both in the first and the third Saw movie, and in both versions, when Adam opens the closet door and pauses in front of it, he has the bat in his left hand and the camera in his right.

Corrected entry: The straw in Jigsaw's drink is on the opposite side of the glass during the flashbacks when he's telling Amanda that it was actually her test. (During the scene at the start of the movie it was at the front of the glass, during the flashback it's at the back of the glass).
Correction: The flashbacks are of events that happened much earlier, and he might have taken a sip from the straw since then, so it makes sense the straw is not in the same place.

Corrected entry: As Jigsaw is dying there is a shot of him slowly closing his eyes and there's no tear or anything. The shot cuts to Jeff for an instant (less than a second), then back to Jigsaw, and there's a tear and a tear run all the way down his cheek. There wasn't enough time for him to cry it out.
Correction: Tears do not always more slowly. They can move quite fast, and move down your face in less than a second, so this is actually possible.

Corrected entry: When Lynn is shaving Jigsaw's head it is extremely obvious that she's not actually cutting his hair. The clippers come nowhere near his scalp. (01:03:40)
Correction: Thats because Jigsaws hair is thick and fluffy. You must thin the hair before cutting at the root or you risk painful catching and jamming of the clippers in the thicker hair, trust me, I shave my own head. It happens a lot in the cheaper models of clippers, and everything Jigsaw uses is cheap, found, self-made and often very old and even sometimes rusty.

Corrected entry: Amanda's flashback scene shows Jigsaw placing her in the chair, then putting the first part of the "Reverse Venus Flytrap" device in her mouth. She has no black lipstick on in those shots, but she was wearing black lipstick during that scene in the original Saw. Later, during the flashback, you see her coming out of the building and she has the black lipstick on.
Correction: I've watched the scene several times and paused on the one specific shot showing Amanda's lips and the black lipstick can be seen as Jigsaw tilts her head back.

Corrected entry: Leonidas gets a cut that runs from above his left eye, all the way down to past his cheekbone during his battle with the Uber Immortal. During many shots of Leonidas you can see that the cut is on his lower eyelid, yet when they show him at the end of the movie (the shot before he takes his helmet off) he just has the scratch above his eye. You can see at least 1/2 of an inch below his eye, but there's no sign of a scratch. When Leonidas takes his helmet off, the scratch is there beneath his eye and goes all the way up to his eye.
Correction: I've watched the movie several times, and if you watch closely when the über Immortal delivers the blow to Leonidus' face, you can see that it starts breaking his helmet first and doesn't actually touch his skin until about 1/2 way down. Thus, creating a physically smaller scar on his face and longer on the helmet itself.
