Continuity mistake: Before she goes into labor Rosemary and Guy's alarm clock above their bed reads 9:30 throughout the scene, but when Dr. Sapirstein injects her with a sedative and she goes into labor the wrist watch that the man on the right of the screen is wearing gives another time which is 11:15. (01:57:15)????
Factual error: Rosemary calls Dr. Hill from a pay phone and says, "The baby's due on Tuesday, you remember you told me June 28th" (and June 28th 1966 does fall on a Tuesday). In the previous scene in Dr. Sapirstein's office his receptionist is making an appointment "next week" for a patient and that date is "July 10th" indicating that if Rosemary is due on June 28th (which she says is next Tuesday) the dates do not match and it must still be the week of June 20th which is at least two weeks before July 10th. Continuity mistake: Before she enters their apartment and sees her baby, Rosemary walks back to the closet that connects her apartment with the Castevet's and as she opens the door we see yellow linens on the top shelf. Several shots before as she takes the shelves down these yellow linens fell on her head and were not put back on the shelf. (02:05:25 - 02:07:40)????
Continuity mistake: Rosemary goes to the kitchen and gets a knife and proceeds back to the closet that connects her apartment with the Castevet's. When she left the closet before getting the knife the shelves were stacked against the doorframe, but now as she returns the shelves are neatly stacked against the far wall. (02:05:25 - 02:07:35)????
Continuity mistake: In order to fool the witches Rosemary takes the pills that they give her and sticks them between a brick and the middle shelf of her head board. When we first see this spot the bricks are flush with the shelf but in the next shot the shelf has been moved out about three-quarters of an inch past the bricks. (02:03:50)????
Continuity mistake: As she sits waiting for Dr. Sapirstein, Rosemary picks up a TIME Magazine with the cover story "Is God Dead" (April 8,1966) which has a red border and white lettering on top. In the next shot if you look very closely she's reading another magazine that has a red border and yellow lettering. (01:40:40)????
Deliberate mistake: Rosemary believes that her baby is alive and proceeds to the closet that connects her apartment with the Castevet's and it takes well over a minute, and a bit of noise for her to undo the shelves. Dr. Sapirstein and Guy would have had to do the exact same thing when they broke into the apartment in the previous scene but it took them less than thirty seconds including the time it took to get into the Castevet's apartment from the hallway.
