Question: How is it possible that Harry has no problems with trusting Alastor Moody in this movie? At the end of the previous movie, he discovered that "Moody" was an evil imposter who conspired against him. He only saw the real Moody briefly when he was trapped inside his trunk and didn't even interact with him. So how come he isn't distrustful/suspicious towards him if he barely knows him?

Answer: Agree with the other answer, but would add that any evil wizard attempting to gain proximity to Harry by using Polyjuice potion would be unlikely to impersonate "Mad-Eye" Moody, as the real one would now be closely scrutinized and vetted by the Order.
But there is another issue. Harry acts as if he knew Moody very well, despite never interacting with him before.
As mentioned, Harry was present when the real Moody was rescued at the end of "Goblet of Fire." He likely had interaction with him immediately following that event and then later, even though it's not shown on screen. He also knows Moody by his colourful reputation and that Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix fully trust him.
He didn't interact with Moody in the previous movie because Moody was in a bad mental state due to being trapped for a whole year. It took Moody some time to recover from this trauma.

Question: How come at the end, in the department of mysteries, there was blood at the end of Luna's mouth?
Answer: After the kids use the Stupefying Spell in unison on Lucius and the other Death Eaters, a few shots later Lucius apparates and holds out his hand. Three shots later (01:51:00) there's a closeup of Luna as she turns to face the masked Death Eater, then at the start of the next shot Luna is hit in the face and she falls backward onto the floor. It's here we see the bit of blood at the corner of Luna's mouth.

Question: While at the park, why did Dudley still bully Harry? Knowing that Harry is quite capable of doing magic, wouldn't it have been better for Dudley to just leave him alone instead of trying to act macho in front of his friends?
Answer: Dudley was too much an immature bully to stop harassing Harry. His entire personality was selfish, boorish, and cruel. He knew exactly what he could and couldn't get away with regarding Harry. He also knew Harry was not allowed to perform magic outside of Hogwarts while underage and would get into severe trouble for harming a Muggle. The entire Dursley family increasingly feared Harry as he matured. Dudley started to change for the better after Harry saved him from the Dementors.
Adding on to this answer: In the "Chamber of Secrets" book, some of this is explained. Chapter 2 is when the Dursleys learn that Harry is *not* supposed to be using magic outside of school. Until then, he briefly enjoys their nervousness around him.

Question: Hermione couldn't understand why Ron wouldn't wear what his mother made him for Christmas but I am curious, was Hermione wearing what Mrs Weasley made for her when they were walking down the stairs?
Then why would she not get why Ron isn't wearing it when she isn't wearing her own gift from Mrs Weasley?
Ron has a long history of being embarrassed by his mother's rather odd homemade gifts. Unlike Hermione, because his family was poor, he had few options on what else he could wear. Hermione, being a guest, would not be expected to wear her gift at any particular time. She also thinks Ron is over-reacting.

Question: How could Bellatrix possibly have recognised Neville?
Answer: She's seen a picture? Been given his description? There are any number of possibilities.
Answer: I'd say this is a deliberate movie mistake to provide plot exposition. Bellatrix was one of the Death Eaters who tortured Neville's parents into permanent insanity when Neville was a young boy. It's unlikely Bellatrix would recognize Neville on sight, but this reveals her involvement in the Longbottom family tragedy, and shows that Neville fighting Voldemort and the Death Eaters is personally motivated.

Question: Why would Harry say Voldemort killed Cedric? Obviously it was Wormtail.
Answer: Peter Pettigrew was believed to be dead by the entire wizarding world. The only witnesses are Lupin (a werewolf), Sirius, who is still on the run, Harry, Ron and Hermione. No one believed him about Voldemort returning, as they thought he was only seeking attention. Its safe to assume everyone would also think the same about Pettigrew being alive.

Question: Why was Quidditch taken out of this movie entirely since it plays an important enough role in the book?
Chosen answer: It wasn't important enough to include it in the film. As the series overall plot line became darker and increasingly complex, adding the Quidditch scenes would only lengthen the movie's overall running time, it is repetitive, and would slow the action. Film makers can not include every detail from a book into a movie script. Characters, plot points, themes, are entirely eliminated, reordered, or incorporated in other ways.

Question: I believe the network is called FreeFH on Cox network? But anyway, why is it that when they have a marathon From Philosopher's Stone to Deathly Hollow's part II, they always skip this film? Instead they go from Goblet of Fire and go straight to Half-Blood Prince.
Answer: I've noticed that too. Because the entire Harry Potter series takes up so much TV air time, the scheduling would be a factor so that the entire marathon can end at a reasonable hour. It may be that "Order of the Phoenix" receives the lowest viewing ratings, and therefore is skipped over in the interest of time.

Question: When Umbridge has Harry, his friends and the Slytherin students in her office, she asks Harry if he was going to warn Dumbledore. When he says he wasn't, she responds by slapping him in the face. In the background, Draco has a look of shock on his face. Considering the fact that he hates Harry, why would he react this way?
Answer: It was probably a mistake. Tom Felton may have flinched by accident.

Question: Why does Harry simply drop his wand when Voldemort casts a disarming spell? When Professor Snape used it on Gilderoy Lockhart in the second movie, Lockhart rose into the air and fell. This also happened to Snape when Harry used the spell on him in the third movie.

Question: I saw the deleted scene that has Professor Trelawney eating during the start-of-term feast. What is the significance of her eating? Why make a scene about it?
Answer: It's to show her odd character traits and how she's rather out-of-sync with everyone else. She begins eating, almost completely unaware of what is going on around her when everyone else knows they should be paying attention to the proceedings. She basically lives in her own world and doesn't function well when she's around others.

Question: Why do people at first suspect that Harry is lying about Voldemort's return? Didn't they believe that he defeated Voldemort at the end of the first two movies?
Answer: Up until the end of Order of the Phoenix, there was no actual proof that Harry had ever confronted Lord Voldemort. It was only Harry's word and also Dumbledore's. It was only after Fudge and others saw Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic that they were finally convinced. Harry, being a child at the time, had been considered a less than reliable source and was considered by many to be an attention-seeking liar, caught up in his own celebrity as "the boy who lived." Dumbledore had a reputation of being a somewhat-eccentric crackpot who had lost his touch with age. While some found him credible, most simply wanted to believe that Voldemort was dead and would never return. It is typical of how the public reacts to crisis. Until there is definitive and irrefutable proof, they simply will not take a few people's word. Even then, there are still skeptics.

Question: The prophecy says that Voldemort and Harry can't both survive, so why have they both been alive since the last movie and Voldemort doesn't die for another two movies?
Answer: The prophecy means that they are destined to confront one another at some point in time, and both will die (by killing each other). It does not mean they cannot be alive on the earth at the same time. Also, the prophecy was made before Lily Potter sacrificed herself to save baby Harry. Her death created a spell that gave Harry added protection.

Question: Why did Harry and Ron get into so much trouble for using the flying car in "Chamber of Secrets", but in this movie/book, the Order of the Phoenix members openly fly on broomsticks?
Answer: Ron and Harry, who were under-aged, took the car without permission, flew it haphazardly, nearly got Harry killed, were seen by Muggles and it was reported in the Muggle news. They also crashed the car into the Whomping Willow, causing much damage and could have injured others at Hogwarts. Their actions also got Mr. Weasley into trouble with the Ministry of Magic, because Mr. Weasley bewitched a muggle object which is illegal by wizards' law. When the Order of the Phoenix is moving Harry to a safe house, it was carefully planned and precautions were taken to avoid being seen, much like how the Knight Bus is always undetectable to Muggles.
They flew next to a ferry which would also be a bad idea.
Even though it's illegal to bewitch a muggle object, several wizards have enchanted cars. The ministry of magic owns several enchanted cars. Think about the Knight bus, not illegal. So Mr. Weasley was not in trouble for that.

Question: When and how does Voldemort become aware of the prophecy and how does he know it is about Harry? Does he know that he caused it to become true by giving Harry is scar?
Chosen answer: Spoiler Alert! Voldemort learned about the prophecy from Severus Snape when he was still a Death Eater. Dumbledore reveals to Harry that shortly before Harry's birth, he interviewed Sybill Trelawney for the Divination teaching position at an inn in Hogsmeade village. Dumbledore felt that Trelawney lacked significant talent and had decided not to offer her the position when she suddenly fell into a trance and related the prophecy to him, although she had no memory of it. Snape was spying on them and overheard the prophecy's first half, although he was discovered and thrown out before hearing its entirety. According to Dumbledore, Voldemort deduced that Harry was "the chosen one" based on clues in the prophecy. It could also have been Neville Longbottom who fit the prophecy, but Harry being a half-blood like himself is probably why Voldemort chose to kill him, thus marking Harry (both literally and figuratively) as his equal when his killing curse failed. Dumbledore believed the prophecy was ultimately unimportant, but because Voldemort thought it was, he determined his and Harry's fate the night he murdered the Potters and gave Harry his scar.

Question: Since Umbridge ordered the dementors to attack Harry in the opening of Order of the Phoenix, why isn't she punished or otherwise held accountable after it's revealed that she is responsible for the attack?
Chosen answer: It was never actually proved that Umbridge ordered the attack, and it is basically her word against Harry and the other students. Also, the Slytherin students would back up Umbridge's claims. The Ministry does not believe anything Harry or Dumbledore says anyway, discounting their claims that Voldemort has returned, that Sirius Black was innocent, that Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail) is still alive, etc, so it's unlikely they'll believe that Umbridge was involved in dementor attack.
