Continuity mistake: When the group emerges from the woods and is looking at the Emerald City, from the front Toto is about ten or fifteen feet to the left, standing on a rock. It then cuts to Dorothy for just a second, and then to a shot of the group from the back, and Toto is suddenly right behind them. (00:54:35)

Continuity mistake: During the Lion's king song, the Tin Man breaks a flower pot and places it on the Lion's head as a crown. In the wide shot, the Tin Man's hand is still on the crown, but when it cuts to a closeup of the Lion the Tin Man's hand is suddenly gone. (01:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When Dorothy is holding Toto in the last scene, the dog is facing to the left, but in the very next shot he's suddenly facing to the right.

Continuity mistake: After the Witch throws a fireball at the Scarecrow in the woods and disappears, Dorothy is holding Toto. But when it cuts to a closeup of her, it looks like her shoulders are extended. When it cuts back to the wide shot, she indeed has her arms around the Scarecrow and Tin Man, even though she never put Toto down. (00:46:55)

Continuity mistake: When Velvet is talking about her father getting rid of the pie, in the wide shot she's barely touching the horse at all. But in the closeups, she has both arms cradling his face.

Continuity mistake: When Carrie is talking to the gym teacher on the outside bench, in the wide shots Carrie's hair is perfectly flat but in the closer shots, there's a big spot on her left side that's sticking out. (00:35:45)

Continuity mistake: When Tom Riddle takes Harry's wand in the Chamber of Secrets and Harry says "Give me my wand, Tom," his arm goes from being at his side to outstretched to back at his side in successive shots. (02:05:30)

Continuity mistake: The distance between Harry and Ron when they're sliding into the Chamber of Secrets keeps changing. Harry jumps first, and Ron jumps a few seconds later, so there should be a little distance between them. But when they're sliding down, Ron is directly behind Harry. At the bottom though, Harry slides onto the ground a few seconds before Ron, meaning they're again some distance apart. (02:00:10)

Continuity mistake: When the brunette girl is preparing to slit her wrists in the bathtub she turns on the water, then takes off all her rings and lines them up on the side of the tub. She then turns the water off, but suddenly her black ring has reappeared on her finger.

Continuity mistake: When Griffith and Ford are working together at the table, Ford is smoking a cigar. In the wide shot there's lots of smoke in the air between them, but in their close-ups the smoke is suddenly gone.

Continuity mistake: When Melanie Griffith and Harrison Ford are standing on the sidewalk eating and talking, Ford has what looks like mayonnaise on the corner of his mouth. But in the very next shot, from a different angle, it's gone, even though he hasn't wiped his face.

Continuity mistake: When O-Ren's young bodyguard has the mace, she hits the Bride smack in the chest more than once with the very heavy, spiked ball. But later, there is not a trace of a welt, bruise, or cut on the Bride's chest (plenty of blood on her half-zipped jacket but her skin is just fine.)

Continuity mistake: When Joe and Ana are in his room in the morning, Joe puts the newspaper into his pocket with no bold print showing. A few seconds later, even though he hasn't touched the paper, it's now turned with the bold type facing out.

Continuity mistake: When Ana wakes up in Joe's room in the morning, Joe's tie goes from being tucked into his belt, to being out, and back in again in successive shots.

Continuity mistake: When Legolas jumps up on a rock to look at the approaching flock of birds, you can distinctively see his breath showing. But at no other time do you see his, or anyone else's breath showing in the scene. (It occured to me that this might be smoke, but he doesn't have a pipe.) (00:05:55)

Continuity mistake: When Frodo and Gandalf are in the kitchen, and Gandalf is revealing the truth about the One Ring, there's a shot where Frodo is standing, pouring some tea. It then cuts to Gandalf for literally two seconds, and when it cuts back to Frodo, not only has he finished pouring, but he's settled in his chair with his hands wrapped around his teacup. Pretty fast moving there. (00:38:05)

Continuity mistake: When Velvet is standing with Mr. and Mr. Edes after they catch the Pie at the beginning, from one angle both her hands are on the bridle, but from the reverse angle, her left hand is on the Pie's muzzle.

Continuity mistake: When Samuel is dying and Tristan is sitting over him, from one angle Tristan's hand is covering his mouth, but in the reverse angle it's down.

Continuity mistake: In addition to the poor blood makeup on Shannon's face (where the blood looks like it's starting to dry,) she starts wiping it off with her handkerchief, and despite not having soap, water, or a mirror, she manages to get every speck off in just a few seconds.

Continuity mistake: During the hurricane, Eric's ship is tossed violently around on the waves. But when Ariel is thrown back into the water and the ship is seen from below, it's barely moving at all.
