Continuity mistake: After nuclear Man crumples the cab's hood, there's another taxi behind starting to drive slowly towards the damaged cab. A frame later, a new angle shows that taxi repeating the previous movements but really fast.

Continuity mistake: When Lacy is about to enter the elevator, a light brown rug has appeared on the floor behind, which disappears in the next wide shots.

Continuity mistake: In the hotel, right before Lacy enters the elevator, the hall of the hotel is filled with plants, couches and people. A second later, while Clark is on the trolley, the hall is a vast, empty place for the trolley to wander around.

Continuity mistake: When Superman is out on the balcony with Lois, a tall, wide building is reflected on the glass behind, but when the angle changes to Superman's POV the building is gone, and now there's just a vast open space and a thin skyscraper.

Continuity mistake: When Superman cools the huge river of lava, a bunch of fresh white and red carnations can be seen inches away. Perhaps they are an ultra-heat-proof breed?

Continuity mistake: When the bellboy picks up Clark with the baggage trolley, he makes a close turn to the right and drives parallel to the elevator. When the angle changes he is in a totally different position.

Continuity mistake: When Superman enters the UN hall, a back shot shows the people in the upper bleacher clapping, but a frame later, the front shot shows them sitting still.

Continuity mistake: When Superman is entering the UN, an Arab man greets him and turns his head around from right to left. In the following closer angle he repeats the movement.

Continuity mistake: When the volcano erupts, a wide shot shows a group of people behind the cop and the priest. In the following shot a woman appears in front of the cop.

Continuity mistake: While the people in the village are watching the lava flow down the streets, the first shot shows them to the right of a wooden door. A frame later they are positioned several feet further, close to a big green plant.

Continuity mistake: During the volcano eruption the animal on the right (goat or sheep, I don't know) keeps changing from brown colour to white.

Continuity mistake: When the lava is flooding the village, a big green plant appears close to a priest. When Superman cools the lava and the smoke goes away, we see that the plant is much smaller and less leafy.

Continuity mistake: During the volcano eruption scene, an old man with a black hat on the right appears and disappears depending if the shot is a close-up or a wide shot. This even happens when the shot changes follow one another immediately.

Continuity mistake: One of the general shots in the subway shows Superman flying slower than usual and inches away from the bystanders. The problem is that their coats and hair don't flutter nor do they notice him passing by or seem nervous in any way. However, the next close shot of their faces show them nervous and in awe at the action.

Plot hole: Nuclear Man flies through the floor and ceilings of the Metropolis tower without touching anything or anyone; but an outside shot shows the facade exploding for some reason.

Continuity mistake: After smashing his head, Superman sends Nuclear Man flying away. At first, Nuclear Man is conscious and with his head pointing upwards. A frame later he is unconscious and the head is laying down.
