Continuity mistake: At the time they were all little kids, the veteran from the war (Brendan Fraser) gave them cigarettes. When the girls were leaving, Teeny took one last puff and stopped it out, in the next shot she throws down the cigarette again and steps on it. (00:45:20)
Now and Then (1995)
Directed by: Lesli Linka Glatter
Starring: Christina Ricci, Demi Moore, Hank Azaria, Melanie Griffith, Bonnie Hunt, Devon Sawa, Thora Birch, Rita Wilson, Rosie O'Donnell, Gaby Hoffmann, Ashleigh Aston Moore
Visible crew/equipment: In the big game of Red Rover at the beginning of the film, as Bobby runs over to the four girls, in one shot all of the four girls tape markers on the grass are extremely noticeable. Sam is standing on a red one, Chrissy on a blue one, Roberta on a green one and Teeny on a yellow one. They're obviously gone in all the following shots. (00:01:35)
Revealing mistake: When Sam trips over in the cemetery, she falls onto Dear Johnny's cracked tombstone. As she pushes down, the 'tombstone' squashes under her hands. (00:27:25)
Trivia: The girl that plays Samantha's little sister is Rumor Willis - the daughter of Demi Moore, who plays Older Samantha.
Teeny: Chrissy, truth or dare?
Chrissy: Truth.
Teeny: Have you ever been french kissed?
Chrissy: Are you kidding? I don't want to get pregnant!
Roberta: You can't get pregnant from french-kissing!
Chrissy: I know that, beetle-brain, but it's common knowledge that if you tongue-kiss a boy, he automatically thinks you'll do the deed with him. They can't help it. They're driven. It's the male curse.
Question: In the end credits, there are seven stuntmen listed, b ut I can only think of four. Can you please tell me what all of the stunts are?.
Question: Does anyone know where I can find the footage of the Carnival scene that was deleted from the final movie? Its not on the zone4 DVD and I really want to see it.
Question: During the scene when Roberta is reading the newspaper about her mother's death, the printed article mentions that the truck driver who killed her mom was named Peter. Are we to believe that this is "Crazy Pete"?
Answer: There are two different men named Peter. In the shot of the newspaper while Roberta is reading the article, it states that the driver of the pickup truck was Peter Norris (00:41:35). Then Sam finds the article about 12 year old Jonathan Simms and his mother, Beverly Ann, so we know that "Crazy Pete" is Peter Simms (00:43:00).
Answer: We are never even told that Crazy Pete is even the old mans real name. It was probably just a random person who killed Roberta's mother.

Answer: Reshooting certain scenes would most likely necessitate new stunt people, as the first one(s) would most likely be hard to get back.
