Continuity mistake: After the double train fails to slow train 777 and gets switched to another section of track, in the control room, you see the train has already partly gone around a bend on the TV screen behind the bearded character, then cuts to the TV report footage which shows the train continuing on for a few seconds, though when the scene cuts back to the train, it is only just beginning go around the same bend that it had already partly travelled. Will: This is Will Colson, the conductor speaking; just to let you know we're gonna gonna run this bitch down.
Connie Hooper: We're not just talking about a train here. We're talking about a missile the size of the Chrysler Building!
Question: Wouldn't it be easier if Stewart just attached his cab to 777 and any other qualified personnel with him just walked from Steward to 777 and took control of it, too easy perhaps? Or the welder could have someone with a BB gun in the back to shoot the famous "kill switch" next to fuel tank, instead of the cops trying to?
