Donald Gets Drafted

Continuity mistake: When we see Donald Duck at the beginning of the cartoon, he is holding a piece of paper in his left hand, but in the next shot the paper has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Donald is pretending to play the flute, he sees a poster of a majorette and on the poster it reads "Fall In - it's time to fly." But when we see the poster a few seconds later, the "It's time to fly" has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Donald is speaking to the General at his desk, the books on the General's desk change between shots.

Trivia: At the beginning of the cartoon, we see Donald wearing an army hat instead of his usual sailor hat. This would be repeated in the other army-themed Donald Duck cartoons.

Trivia: The cartoon reveals for the first time Donald Duck's middle name - Fauntleroy. You can see this on Donald's "Order to Report for Induction" form on the title screen.
