Every Which Way But Loose

Visible crew/equipment: Near the beginning where Philo parks his truck after speaking to Orville who is taking Ma to do her driving licence, you can see a crew member (wearing a white cowboy hat and sunglasses) reflected in the side mirror of the truck.

Revealing mistake: When the police officer falls down at the lake and lands face to face with the rattle snake, you can see the glass separating the actor and snake.

Continuity mistake: At the bowling alley, when the girl bowls her first bowl she leaves 6 or 7 pins standing, but her second bowl shows only 3 pins left.

Trivia: The role of Philo Beddoe was originally written for Burt Reynolds.

Cholla: You Philo Beddoe?
Philo Beddoe: Do I know you?
Cholla: You're gonna.

Cholla: The very first thing we do is find out who we're talking about. I mean, we don't even know where to find him.
Elmo: How are we gonna find him?
Cholla: Well it appears to me that there can't be too many guys driving around this valley with an ape.

Philo Beddoe: I'm not afraid of any man, but when it comes to sharing my feelings with a woman, my stomach turns to royal gelatin.
