Mulholland Falls

Continuity mistake: When the Colonel finishes talking to the General on the phone, he practically throws the phone into the army truck out of frustration. In the following shot, you can see the soldier in the truck with the phone in hand, as if it was calmly given to him, even as you hear the end of the "clunk" from when it was thrown. (00:52:50)

Continuity mistake: There are a couple of problems with the scene where Max throws the camera through the half-mirror. The breakage shown in the action shot seen from Allison's room doesn't match the larger amount of glass missing from the mirror frame when seen from Jimmy's room. Also, when we see Max after he's thrown the camera, there's no broken glass laying around. You'd think that at least some of the glass would "splash" back into Jimmy's room. (00:28:25)

TheRealElbadoo

Factual error: The morning after Katherine found out that Max was cheating on her, while Max is getting dressed for work he dumps out a box of aluminium cased ammo on the dresser, which was unavailable until the early 80's. (01:18:05)

Lieutenant Max Hoover: See, that's federal property. This isn't. This is L.A. This is my town. Out here you're a trespasser. Out here I can pick you up, burn your house, fuck your wife, and kill your dog. And the only thing that'll protect you is if I can't find you. And I already found you.

General Timms: A hundred die so that a thousand may live.

Eddie Hall: I don't understand how anybody can live at the beach. Those waves crashing and flopping all the time - drive me crazy.
Arthur Relyea: I'm with you, Eddie. I like the sound of traffic when I'm sleeping.
Jimmy Fields: I find it very peaceful. Most people do. I guess cops are just different.
