Blood Simple (1984)

Visible crew/equipment: When the PI enters the house for the first time to take the pictures, when he goes back outside you can clearly see a crew member standing off to the right of the frame. May only be visible in widescreen.

Continuity mistake: In an early scene, the bartender and the bar owner's wife are driving in the rain, at night. The car is a large Ford: at one point, it becomes a mid-sixties Volvo 122, then is shown as a Ford again.

Continuity mistake: In the opening sequence where John Getz and Frances McDormand are driving in the rain, the rain stops and starts, depending on the shot.

Strip-Bar Exhorter: And remember, gentlemen, we're always here, two to two, A.M. to P.M., three hundred and sixty-four days and Christmas, God willing and the creek don't rise.

Abby: I don't know what you're talkin' about. I mean, what are you talking about? I haven't done anything funny.

Abby: He took me to a psychiatrist one time, to calm me down... the psychiatrist said I was the healthiest person he'd ever talked to, so Marty fired him.
Ray: I don't think you can fire a psychiatrist, 'zactly.
Abby: Well I never saw him again, I can tell you that.
