Continuity mistake: At the end when Jack (Ethan Hawke) is nailing the roof of his cabin he stops and looks around with the nails in his mouth. His head turns and the camera goes back and forth and suddenly the nails are in his hand. He then runs down the latter with no sign of the nails anywhere.

Revealing mistake: When Jack is being chased by the bear, at one point you can see a piece of food thrown into the shot to make the bear turn around.
Continuity mistake: After being attacked by the bear and scratched on the arm/hand, Jack has no bandages or scrapes on his arm.
Jack Conroy: Is there any good reason why we can't just bury him here? I don't think he'll know the difference.
Alex Larson: I gave him my word.
Jack Conroy: What's his name?
Grey Beaver: Mia Tuk.
Jack Conroy: What's that mean?
Grey Beaver: White Fang.
Alex Larson: Belinda! Feed the dogs.
Jack Conroy: Man, you're romantic, aren't you?
